  1. I think Small is still injured with the tendon in one of his fingers. According to the AFL rules: A player on an MLB or minor league injured list must be reinstated before he can be assigned to the AFL. I am not sure if Small has been reinstated from the injured list. Brown I agree with he will more than likely be added as a pitcher along with File. Position players that I could see being put on the AFL include: Turang, Howell, Dillard, Lutz, Gray, Wiemer, Feliciano (if he is reinstated from the IL), Warren and Mitchell. Not all of them will make it onto the AFL roster but I think Turang or Howell are locks. Depending on Feliciano's and Mitchell's health they could also be locks. I wouldn't be surprised if Lutz/Gray and Wiemer would be in the OF in the AFL over Mitchell.
  2. That was a dumb pitch. Why would you throw a fastball? If you walk him you walk him and why was Boxberger throwing the ball over to first? He didn't need to keep the runner close if the runner steals 2B it doesn't really matter as the runner is more than likely going to score on anything hit to the OF anyways with 2-outs. Just dumb all around.
  3. It was a borderline strike if he doesn't swing at it he probably strikes out looking. Only option there would be to foul it off.
  4. If the polarity of the poles shift and North becomes South is up still North?
  5. lol great time for bad Suter to show up again. I hope this is the last season Suter is with the Brewers the guy is not fooling anyone anymore and he should be looking for a job as a pitching coach somewhere and not on the mound.
  6. Its like Yelich has taken hitting advice from Braun. Watch first pitch go down middle swing at a pitch inside that you have no chance at hitting and then flailing at an outside off speed pitch.
  7. Unlikely the Brewers would have to lose nearly every game here on out and the Cardinals would have to win every game for that to happen.
  8. Not sure why I have to explain this and not even sure why it is trolling. Compare WI sports radio and TV announcers with any other state or city. WI is basically at the top when it comes to announcers and them not being extremely horrible to listen to. The amount of good to great commentators in WI sports is just at another level compared to other states and cities. Hence why WI sports fans are spoiled with good commentators.
  9. This really shouldn't be a surprise that Burnes won't be pitching in this next series. The plan all season has been to pitch on 5-days of rest and if possible an extra day or two, I don't see why the Brewers would even deviate from that plan as it has been working all year.
  10. Well that is because you are reading the map upside down.
  11. The greatest Brewer to ever play 1B and SS!
  12. Wouldn't that be the most qualified person? You can be the least experienced person and still be the most qualified. Not going to lie I am going to miss Paschke. Wisconsin fans are spoiled when it comes to TV and radio announcers.
  13. By that definition, maybe the UP? I think you would have to go up to Marquette for that definition to be true.
  14. It is because it competes with their imaginary money.
  15. I got a freaking mosquito bite right on my ankle and it is killing me not to itch it.
  16. The movie Dirty Work was one of my favorite movies always made me laugh in that movie.
  17. Well guess it ended being LOL Ravens. While the end of the 4th was awesome and OT was a ride. I really hate it when teams play for the FG and leave to much time on the clock. If you are going for the win one field goal you should try and get the time under 20 seconds if at all possible.
  18. LOL Raiders.
  19. Another 2 or 3 years and the Angels probably have two in the top 10 with Ohtani and Trout. If the Angels ever get just league average pitching that team would be dangerous.
  20. Should be an interesting weekend next week. The Brewers could clinch the NL Central next weekend against the Cubs while the Reds play the Dodgers and the Cardinals play the Padres and the Giants play the Braves. The Phillies also play the Mets next weekend with all of those games being playoff deciding games as the season starts to wind down I don't think MLB could have planned this any better in the NL. In the AL next weekend the only playoff contenders playing each other are the Angels and A's.
  21. The 2nd greatest SS to ever play for the Brewers #1 hasn't shown up yet!
  22. Watching the Seahawks and Colts game and Taylor has been used in the passing game a lot. I don't remember him being all that much used in the passing game in college but then again there really wasn't much of a passing game for the Badgers anyways.
  23. If you would have asked during the first month and a half of the season who would get no hit more the Brewers or the Indians. I think you would have the majority voting for the Brewers. Kind of amazing how far this teams hitting has come since then.
