  1. I know most probably don't like the cartoons or anime but the Bad Batch looks interesting and I really enjoyed the Clone Wars cartoon and Rebels was ok though not as good as the Clone Wars series.
  2. You are thinking of this entirely wrong. If you attach a currency to Bitcoin you would be paid in the currency not in Bitcoin. The value of the currency depending on how much you print will be tied to Bitcoin and thus would have actual value and backing behind it. If a country goes crazy and prints off a lot of money the valuation of that said currency would then go down because it would then buy less Bitcoin. This would actually force governments to be more wise with their currency and debt. Instead of just passing it on to whatever generation which is what the fiat currencies have done this may not make people poorer today but it will definitely make the poor poorer in the future.
  3. No it won't make everyone poorer the printing of more and more money is what does that.
  4. There can only ever be 21 million Bitcoin in existence you can't mine anymore than that. So Bitcoin is the better choice over gold as you can't create more the 21 million.
  5. You can basically buy anything and everything in Japan with Bitcoins. I believe you can do that in South Korea also and some of the other smaller countries in Asia also. There is a strip club in Nevada that you can pay in Bitcoin and also a gun store in Texas that you can purchase guns with Bitcoin. There are other applications that can be used with the chainblock technology other than Bitcoin. Though ultimately I would love to see the US go back to the gold standard but instead of gold tie the US currency to Bitcoin. I think more countries will start to do this especially if the dollar keeps on dropping like it has. At some point the fiat currencies will either be toilet paper or backed up by something like gold or Bitcoin basically monetary policy should go backwards to be able to move forward.
  6. Well this is just ummm stupid? https://www.cbssports.com/nhl/news/nhl-sells-naming-rights-to-divisions-for-2021-season/
  7. Stimulus sure but that didn't really increase the debt by all that much the budget bill though now that added a whole lot more to the national debt and most of that money is just going overseas for dumb reasons. So no matter what the current or future administrations do the dollar is going to weaken due to the debt issues unless you are saying congress is going to do a 180 and will actually start caring about the national debt?
  8. The US Dollar is going to drop because the US Treasury is like printer go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and prints money. If the last budget bill is any indication of what is ahead for the dollar it is going to drop some more.
  9. The housing market in Phoenix is not all that cheap it is actually rather expensive especially in downtown Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale. The downtown Phoenix condos go anywhere from $500k to $1m the same for Tempe and Scottsdale. There are some areas where you can get a good deal now but they are extremely far out of the city limit lines and even some of those are rather expensive. If you want to live in a not so great neighbor hood then yeah you can find houses and some apartments for less than $300k but for the most part everything is in the $300-$500k range. Depending on when they got the property in Phoenix it is probably a good deal I know of some people who bought some houses at about $200k and they are now valued at $500-$700k and they charge about $2000 - $3000 a month for rent. Rent prices have also been increasing here due to the mass exodus from California.
  10. Understatement of the year! 83pts in 1 half is just ummm I don't know what it is but fantastic is not enough!
  11. Then you are looking at a Sexson or Overbay type of a trade. You could also add Meyers to that trade but that is a lot of money for the Brewers to take on and that fixes your 1B black hole immediately. The Brewers can't just be looking at filling certain holes here and there they need to fill the minors with as much young talent as they can. Trading for MLB talent when trading Hader is just a losing strategy IMHO.
  12. Not sure how you can say Wilson Contreras and salary dump in the same sentence but here we are. He will only be making ~$6m in 2021 which is a rather small amount for his talent level. Not including his 2020 season he has been about a 3 WAR player lets say he regresses a bit and is only a 2 WAR player in no way is Contreras a salary dump. Contreras and Rizzo are the top two for the Cubs in value. A trade for Contreras on the Brewers side would look something like this. Cubs receive: SS Turang LHP Kelly LHP Ashby Brewers receive: Contreras I wouldn't be surprised if a team like the Yankees or the Red Sox stepped in and offered something better to the Cubs. Contreras will not be a salary dump that is just not going to happen.
  13. Shoot missed that. Instead of Santana would substitute him for LHP Haynes.
  14. I don't believe the Padres will include Cronenworth in a trade for Hader. If the Brewers trade Hader to the Padres it will be a mostly prospect laden deal the Brewers might be able to get Weathers but that would be the only player who would be MLB ready. I think this is what a trade to the Padres would look like: Brewers receive: LHP Weathers LHP Cruz OF Head SS Santana Padres receive: LHP Hader This would give the Brewers another young starting pitcher in Weathers a premiere prospect in Head and two wildcards in Cruz and Santana.
  15. Two interesting pieces of speculation I've heard/seen is that the deal may also include Victor Caratini (who typically catches Darvish) and that one piece returning to the Cubs could be old friend Zach Davies. Regarding the Zach Davies rumors, Jesse Rogers was on ESPN radio in Chicago and made the following comment: "One name I would almost guarantee coming back [in a Yu Darvish, Victor Caratini trade] would be Zach Davies." If Davies is involved I think this will be the final trade: Davies, Weathers, Hassell and Ornelas to the Cubs Darvish and Caratini to the Padres This would give the Cubs one good prospect plus two pitchers they can throw into their rotation in Davies and Weathers and then one gamble of a prospect in Ornelas.
  16. Will be interesting to see who the Padres give up. I am thinking it will center around Hassell and if it does center around someone like Hassell that may tell us where the Cubs are going and it looks like they are going for another rebuild which means others may become available either this off season or during the trade deadline. Rizzo and Contreras are the two best pieces the Cubs have followed by Baez and then Bryant.
  17. Fields is not an NFL QB at least what I have seen from him. Maybe he could become an NFL QB under the right coaching but his decision making is worse than Trubisky and while he has a strong arm he isn't all that accurate.
  18. Right. Just putting the cost that the Nationals paid for Bell in perspective for those who think the Pirates are giving him away. They aren't Crowe and Yean are very good prospects. They are good prospects but definitely not what a lot would have thought Bell would cost about 1-2 years ago. This is definitely a deflated price as neither of the players traded for Bell are in the top 100. Yean ranks 7th in the Pirates system and Crowe 17th while it is a nice deal for the Pirates it is not a big haul or what was expected for him just 1-2 years ago which was at least one 50-100 player plus one or two other prospects.
  19. If you are not going to be making a big purchase any time soon like a car or a house then this is of little concern.
  20. Supply is definitely outweighing demand for first basemen at this time. Sure Bell is at the top of the market but he is going to be coming in at a reduced price no matter what he did last year.
  21. Comparable prospects from the Brewers would be Kelly and Small. I like Kelly over Yean and Crowe over Small.
  22. Bell to Nationals for Minor League pitchers Wil Crowe and Eddy Yean. https://www.mlb.com/news/josh-bell-deal-with-nationals-pirates
  23. I have used this in the past and it works out nicely no guessing on the tabs as it comes straight from the musicians that created the music. https://rocksmith.ubisoft.com/rocksmith/en-us/home/
  24. Yeah I know it would be a in the division trade but Darvish would look good in a Brewers uniform but I don't believe the Brewers have the prospects to make this trade. Current rumors are that the Padres have shown the most interest and that actually scares me as the Cubs could receive a few good prospects which will help their rebuild out. Maybe Darvish's contract will bring down his value a little bit but I am not sure that it will bring it down enough in the current market that is starting pitching starved after Bauer. I would prefer Snell over Darvish if I were the Padres but I am assuming the Padres don't want to include Gore or Abrams in a trade for a SP so Darvish makes more sense here. Something like Hassell, Weathers and Wilcox sounds about right for Darvish. Would be a minor overpay by the Padres but I think they will have to pay a premium because of the lack of top tier starting pitching in free agency this year. I think for the Brewers to make a trade it is something like Turang, Feliciano, Small and Kelly which would be an extreme overpay for Darvish and wouldn't be worth it.
  25. I liked what I saw yesterday from the team nothing to concerning to worry about.
