  1. Middleton and DJ financially would get it done for the Bucks. I don't think the Rockets would go for this as they would be looking for draft picks the Bucks couldn't give them. .
  2. Harden has added the Bucks as a team he wants to be traded to. https://theathletic.com/news/james-harden-bucks-heat-to-trade-destination-list-sources/6Zq4CgKPAh6Z This is weird because Harden and Giannis don't really get along all that well supposedly.
  3. I don't think Semien will get $14-16 million for a one year deal. I think in this market it will be more like $10m maybe even less as I just don't see that many teams looking for a SS. In FA you have Gregorius, Simmons and Semien as the top options at SS. The teams that could possibly need a SS are small market teams and I am not sure they are going to pay top dollar for a FA at SS especially not the Reds and A's. Then you also have teams waiting until next year to get the SS that they want in either Lindor or Seager. I wouldn't be surprised if the Reds trade for a SS instead of paying either Simmons, Gregorius or Semien. I think Simmons ends up with the Phillies and that leaves Gregorius and Semien looking to fill in somewhere on a team. I think the Yankees may sign Gregorius or Simmons and move Torres to 2B if they don't resign LeMahieu. It is basically one big game of musical chairs and Semien may find himself without a chair and if I were the Brewers I would sign Semien to a 1-year deal as either the 3B or starting SS if Arcia's bat disappears completely again.
  4. Nebraska, Ohio State and one or two more were pushing for this and yes Ohio State does have that much influence in the Big Ten. If Ohio State leaves that is the biggest program in the Big Ten along with the highest revenue making team in the conference if Ohio State decided to leave the Big Ten every conference would be begging them to join and probably throwing gobs of money at them to join. Ohio State basically owns the Big Ten because there isn't another perennial top 5 football team in the conference and they are the biggest revenue makers for the Big Ten. Ohio State is basically the Yankees and everyone else are either the Mets, Rays, some AAA team or a AA team.
  5. The reason the Big Ten is in this situation is because of Ohio State and a few other schools crying about the Big Ten not starting the season in the fall. The optics of this is just that Ohio State is basically the screaming toddler and the Big Ten giving in to the screaming toddler and giving them anything and everything they want. If Ohio State wouldn't have made a big stink of starting the season in the spring the Big Ten wouldn't have started the season in the fall.
  6. Dang... the dude's got a type. She SEEMS like she's kinda funny. But I liked Oliva Munn. I also don't know most of what these people say or do, but she also seemed kinda funny. Sarcastic and smart. But maybe that was more her characters than her. The show she did with Jeff Daniels, Newsroom, was a great show...IMO. The only thing I remember of Olivia Munn is the hot dog incident.
  7. Like I said the rules get changed when you are Ohio State. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-ten-expected-to-revoke-six-game-minimum-making-ohio-state-eligible-for-conference-title-game/
  8. Rivers is like Boomer Esiason a good QB but not a great QB. Rivers is kind of stuck like Boomer was where he isn't as good as his peers (Marino, Elway and Kelly) but was still a good QB stuck on a half way decent team. Not comparing Esiason and Rivers statistically just comparing them to their peers when playing.
  9. Michigan Ohio State game canceled. Ohio State now can't make the Big 10 title game unless the Big 10 changes the rules which they will. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ohio-state-vs-michigan-canceled-as-buckeyes-fall-below-big-ten-title-game-eligibility-requirement/
  10. If you want MLB ready talent get ready for a trade like this: Gabe Gross, Dave Bush and Zach Jackson. You are not going to get an All Star level player for Hader it is just not happening. The best bet is to go for a prospect over MLB ready type of a deal.
  11. He runs a 4 - 3 doesn't he? Would they switch up the defense? Fangio runs a 3-4/4-3 hybrid. Majority of his defense are a 4-3 under scheme though he will change it up if the players don't fit under his scheme. He uses 3-4 against the run and 4-3 under against the pass. Quick edit the CB and safeties have to be high football IQ players to work in Fangio's coverage schemes.
  12. Defensively Garcia is better than Yelich so if anyone should be moving to 1B it is Yelich.
  13. That Moustakas signing is looking worse and worse for the Reds.
  14. This is Rob Manfred's MLB vision & effectiveness at work. I don't think he gets it either. Solve things that don't need solving, don't solve those things needing an obvious & timely resolution, and antagonize the players (and frustrated some managers) at every possible turn. Man, I wish Bud would un-retire! It is not just Manfred holding up the DH for the NL it is also the players union. In order for a rule change like this to happen the players union will also need to agree to it and the players union is not going to give up a negotiable even if it is in their favor until at least the next CBA. The players union accepted the DH last season due to injury concerns for pitchers. Don't expect the NL to get the DH unless the players union agrees to it this year but it definitely will be part of the 2022 season.
  15. Brady, Peyton, Rivers, and Brees are all pocket passers. I would even put Rodgers at his age right now as a pocket QB. Pocket QB's can and are still successful in the NFL we just see more Cunningham's and Moon's now more so than in previous decades.
  16. Apparently the Brewers are showing interest in Joc Pederson according to Rosenthal from the Athletic.
  17. For sure, and Warren Moon would be an MVP candidate every year if he played now. If Moon and Marino played in the NFL now it would be hard to choose between who would be the MVP every year it would basically be Moon or Marino as the MVP with everyone else not even having a chance.
  18. Can sign both without trading Hader. There is enough room for $13m in the budget. It would just put them at the top of their budget.
  19. I don't believe Harden will ever win a title he is a great player just like Barkley he is just not someone who will ever win due to chemistry issues.
  20. Kind of off topic but if Marino played in the NFL today what would his stats look like now? I think you could see him putting up 40-50 passing TD seasons regularly and putting up 4000+ yard passing seasons. Marino's best year in '84 maybe his career norms if he played now. I think Marino if he played now and stayed healthy he could easily get to 70,000 - 75,000 passing yards and 500 TD's thrown in his career.
  21. Ferguson is overrated and is a horrible receiver when it comes to tough or physical catches. He drops more passes when he has to fight for the ball if he is wide open he is a good TE otherwise he is garbage.
  22. The WR haven't been much of a help either. Like I said in the beginning of the year the Badgers don't have a legitimate WR threat on the team.
  23. I think the Brewers will get a good prospect from the Dodgers though I wouldn't expect anything higher than a C grade prospect. A couple of players that I think would be on the Brewers radar: OF Cody Thomas 2B Jorbit Vivas 1B/3B Brandon Lewis RHP Edwin Uceta 2B/SS Omar Estevez
  24. I have always loved Sting he was awesome in WCW!
  25. As long as they are not in a blue tint of a color they don't bother me. All of the newer cars are going to be coming with these types of headlights in the future as I believe all cars have to switch over to the LED lights at some point. I have HID lights which seem to be better and don't instantly blind people.
