  1. The one I saw said knee or leg injury but I can't find that article now. Hopefully it is just an ankle injury.
  2. King down with an injury at practice doesn't sound good.
  3. One general comment I don't think people in WI know how good they have it in terms of options for college. Compared to other states like AZ where you basically have about 4 choices to go to a major school while in WI there are at least 6 choices that you can pick from and if you choose the UW system everything transfers as if they were taken at UW-Madison. So if you wanted to save money and graduate from UW-Madison you could take the first 2 or 3-years at UW-Whitewater, UW-Parkside, UW-Stout, UW-whatever and come out with only 1 or 2-years of expensive tuition. I haven't looked this up but I believe the UW system is probably the most affordable college system in the country.
  4. Castellanos and Ozuna would be horrible targets for the Reds but whatever. The only way if I am the Reds that I am going after Castellanos and Ozuna is if they will be playing 1B or the NL adopts the DH next year. Senzel, Ervin, Winker, and Aquino is already a solid 4 deep in the OF. All would be better defensively than Castellanos and Ozuna in the OF.
  5. I feel a JBJ trade to the Mets coming because Mets........
  6. I'd say it was more like 30 years ago. No I would say 20 years ago is accurate. Most of the communication and information was still in print as late as 2000. I remember studying up on degrees, schools and career during that time and the majority of the information was of the print variety. Maybe I am remembering wrong but I don't remember much being online then at least not as much as there is now.
  7. Would you do Betts and Rodriguez for Hiura?
  8. That is the problem I had also. I wonder if the Red Sox would do Benitendi and Rodriguez for Hiura That gives the Brewers a SP and a good bat.
  9. How about this for a trade? Brewers send Hiura to the Red Sox for Betts and Chavis.
  10. Learning you missed gen x by 3 years and finding out you are a millennial is like when Hank Hill found out he wasn't born in Texas but was born in New York.
  11. Probably going to be a Shaw and Braun platoon at 1B.
  12. Yes they started 7-0 last year but they had stretches where they should have won games where they had big leads going into the half and then all of a sudden in the 3rd they would blow the lead and would be fighting the other team from making a comeback or trying to mount a comeback themselves. It is like this team gets complaisant and just stop stepping on the opponents throats. I am starting to believe Bledsoe is a bad fit on this team and that contract is going to be a headache.
  13. This happened last year also. Still an issue this year for whatever reason they haven't figured out how to put teams away when they have a big lead early.
  14. I see the not being able to put teams away with big leads is still an issue this year.
  15. GI Joe's were the best! wow, thanks for wasting 1 minute of my life. What the? What you don't like pork chop sandwiches?
  16. The Brewers obviously don't see Fry as a catcher and probably never will he is a 1B/3B only and not a catcher.
  17. GI Joe's were the best!
  18. All cover 2 is telling you is what the safeties are doing... No the linebackers specifically the outside ones cover the seam hook on a pass play. Which is where the ball went Coan had to throw it higher and the receiver had to run further out for that play to work. Really a run against the cover two is what you want to do on a short yardage situation. Throwing short and medium is playing into the strength of the cover two unless you can run a rub route or a slant but Wisconsin doesn't have the WR to run a slant route.
  19. Seager for Hader is fair for both teams nothing would need to be added to either side.
  20. People hate me around here but In N Out sucks!
  21. Badgers dline looks like they are high school players playing against an NFL oline. This was an issue last year and it looks like it has continued from last year. The dline gets no push at all and just gets manhandled all game. It happened last week and it is happening again this week. At best this dline is a 2nd string players on just about every top 25 team and for a top 5 team they are not even 3rd string players.
  22. If the A's don't get approval from California and Oakland to build a stadium they will be moving. I agree it is not going to be a midwest city especially not Indianapolis or Nashville though Nashville is growing rapidly. It will be either Portland, San Antonio or Las Vegas.
  23. From everything that I can find it ends this year.
  24. Ideally I think MLB would want to move the A's to Montreal but the rumor is Vegas or San Antonio are the likely destinations. Don't rule out Portland either as a destination for the A's.
  25. It was definitely cover 2 as the outside linebacker covered the seam hook. It was the perfect defense against the play that was called. The linebacker was in the throwing lane of the QB. That last play should have been a run play instead of a pass.
