    I don't believe the Bears are going to keep this pick. I would put this at a very high possibility that the Bears trade out of the #10 pick. From the rumors I have seen they are going to address the OL through FA and they may trade the pick for more picks or for Myles Garrett. The Bears keep on getting thrown out there as one of the more likely destination for him. Though the price may get to high for the Bears liking as it looks like the Bills and Eagles are willing to give up a lot to get him. The Browns are also reluctant to trade him and haven't had any conversations with any team on a possible trade. Still I think the Bears trade out of #10 to try and get a few more picks in the second or third round.

    I am now allergic to raw bananas. Cooked or frozen I am fine but if I eat a raw banana I almost go into anaphylactic shock. Mostly just difficulty in breathing and dizziness. But it goes away after a few minutes. So not full on but close enough. This sucks because I love raw bananas in my cereal.

    Izzo doesn’t get enough respect IMHO. Especially from the media when coach K and others were coaching. By far my favorite coach in all of college sports.

    NVIDIA maybe in some trouble at least on the consumer side. Their 5090 and 5080 consumer card are selling out but there may be some recalls coming for these cards. Their card is basically melting the power connector and there also seems to be some missing rops in the 5090 and 5070 TI series of cards. The melting of the power connector is the more serious issue as there is no fix for this at this time. The problem stems from the power connector that NVIDIA chose for its new cards starting with the 4000 series. The previous 4090 generation had this problem early on with third party connectors and user error. This time around it is neither and it is the power connector itself that is failing. Shouldn’t impact NVIDIA that much but will probably have an impact on the stock price at some point if they need to do a full recall.

    I liked the ones I bought from WeatherTech for my last vehicle unfortunately they don’t have any for my current vehicle. It was more of a sheet for the back seats but that is what I needed for my dog.

    2018 the plan was to sign Darvish and Cain. The Darvish part didn’t work out as he chose the Cubs over the Brewers. The Brewers offer to Darvish was really close so much so that Darvish chose the Cubs over the Brewers because he thought the Cubs were closer to winning than the Brewers were. Going into the 2018 season he was accurate in this assessment. In 2019 they went out and signed Grandal. After losing Prince Fielder they went out and signed Aramis Ramirez when they probably should have started the rebuild. 2016 and 2017 really were the only lean years recently. The Brewers market can only sustain being above $120mm for so long. Unless the population increases along with the average household income increasing I don’t see how the Brewers could possibly increase their player salaries. They could cut a lot from the minors but then you really need to hit on every single FA signing to be successful. Market wise the Brewers really should be considered to be moved or they would need to be sold to a billionaire who wants to just throw money away every year.

    That 2nd round pick will probably be in the middle of the 2nd round and that will be their only pick in the '25 draft. So adding more young talent to the team doesn't look all that possible without a major trade of either Dame or Giannis or both. It better be a center because the Bucks have no one next year at center other than moving Giannis there.

    Realistic return is probably something close to what the Brewers got back for one year of Burnes. If this season goes sour then the Brewers probably get the Burnes return at the deadline depending on how well Peralta is pitching. Otherwise I don’t see the Brewers trading him and instead just go with the pick compensation instead.

    What is going to suck after this season is that the Bucks don’t have a draft pick in this upcoming draft. So the Bucks will have to figure out how to replace Lopez without a pick. I think they may move Giannis to the 5 and either try and find a cheap 4 in FA or try and trade for someone. I don’t think they will want Bobby playing the 4 in the starting rotation. Hunter Dickinson maybe an option as an undrafted FA but I think he gets drafted somewhere in the 2nd round. May be able to trade into the 2nd or late 1st but I am not sure on who they could trade to do so.

    If they lose this game it is over for Marquette. They are looking like an 8 seed right now.

    While I like DeJong I can see why the Brewers didn't offer him a contract. Some of his advanced stats show he is in decline. He hit 24 HR's last year but I wouldn't expect that again probably something closer to 10-15 with a .200 average. OPS wise DeJong was just barely better than Turang. I wouldn't have minded adding DeJong but also not adding him I am fine with. DeJong is just a guy and nothing more.

    You are thinking of the last CBA and not '94. In '94 the players union wanted more revenue sharing in exchange for the salary cap. In the last CBA the players union wanted a salary floor if there were to be a hard cap or one similar to what the NBA has. The owners couldn't agree on a salary floor in the last round of the CBA and ditched their ceiling cap.

    How is it coming to an end? Which team has gotten significantly better? The Reds didn't get significantly better and the Pirates are still the Pirates. The Cardinals didn't add anyone this off season. The Cubs added a bit but they also lost out on a few players. The Cubs didn't add 10 more wins to their team they still look to be a 80 win team. The Reds still look to be about an 80 win team. The Pirates still look to be a 70 win team. The Cardinals look to be about an 80 win team. Which team in the NL Central improved? The Brewers have also spent from time to time. The 2019 season was at about $140mm and the 2022 team at $130mm. The Cardinals and Cubs are in completely different markets than the Brewers and really should be out spending the Brewers by more than what they are spending. Right now the gap is not that much compared to the gap between the Brewers and the Dodgers. The Cubs should be able to spend as much as the Dodgers or very close to it at least. The Cardinals should be able to spend up to the first spending cap but they haven't gotten close to that in a while and are currently trying to get under or around where the Brewers are spending now. Notice the Cardinals signed absolutely no one this off season.

    It is physically not possible to gain 25lbs of muscle in the time frame that is being talked about. At most you are going to gain about 2-3lbs of muscle a month. You will gain more when you start and then you will start to flatten out as it gets harder and harder to add more muscles. Frelick may have gained 25lbs but it wasn't all in muscle. He probably gained about 8lbs in muscle and about 17lbs in fat. Even if Frelick was on the best roids known to man he wouldn't gain 25lbs of muscle in about 4 months. If we take the average of 3lbs a month that would be about 12lbs of muscle. Most professional body builders can't even hit that. Realistically he probably only gained about 4lbs of muscle.

    One large market team down. The Mets will be streaming their games through MLB Media and there will be no blackouts for the Mets in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. Currently the Dodgers, Phillies, Astros, Mariners, Giants, Orioles and Nationals do not have a streaming option. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those teams join MLB Media instead of building their own streaming option. Financially it makes more sense to work with someone who already has the infrastructure built to do this and MLB Media already has it built and is probably the best of all sports streaming.     Ortiz had an injury that impacted his swing where he had to change his swing in the middle of the season. That is never a good thing in the middle of the season. I would take Ortiz second half with a very fine pinch of salt. Ortiz didn't start to show some improvement until about September. I think his first half will be closer to what you can expect of him going forward career wise.

    This US Canada game is just awesome. Three fights to begin and a lot of hard hits. This is a great game for an exhibition game.
