    MLB just needs to go with the automated ball and strikes already. This is getting ridiculous.

    As long as Giannis is here Doc will be here at least for now. I am more worried about Dame and if he will be out long term and where the Bucks will get a third option for the offense. The Suns game was the perfect example of what the Bucks are missing late in the game without Dame they have no one who can hit a clutch shot.

    He is probably not an adequate enough starting or bench 5 in the NBA but he definitely doesn’t belong in the G league.

    Take a flight to Phoenix as they are available at the team store at the spring training complex. Usually Frontier has round trip flights for like $70 from Denver to Phoenix.

    MLB needs to come down hard on the umpires I don’t care if they strike just get rid of them if they do. Just go with the automated balls and strikes already. The imperfections of the automated zone is better than the clown show that the MLB umpires put on.

    Paying a lot to a catcher is just something that should be avoided. The main question to ask with Contreras is if you think his offense is worth paying for at 1B or DH when he can no longer be the main catcher. Will he still provide a positive impact down the road when he shifts from catcher to DH or 1B?

    I always thought multiple choice tests were dumb. All that multiple choice tests you on is how much you can memorize and then regurgitate that memorization. Both in HS and in college I always did poorly on the multiple choice section compared to the critical thinking write out your answer section.

    Add about $15-20mm to the total and I think that is what it would take to extend Contreras. Though it maybe a bit more not 100% sure on this.

    The Badgers are fine though it looked like Gard was on the verge of being fired like PC. Unlike PC Gard was willing to change and made those changes rather successfully. I have no problem continuing with Gard when he made those changes it showed a lot about him. He is willing to change things and do things he may not be comfortable doing. I think Gard could become a special coach like Alvarez was for the football program.

    Capra HR was a spring training HR. Just barely over the wall. Fly out if in a normal stadium.

    Umpires union I believe is the blocker there. I believe this was discussed in the last CBA to be added and the umpires union was the blocker. I think the umpires union argued it would make their job more difficult having to watch both bags. One to make sure the fielder has their foot on the bag and the other to watch for the runner. I think just making the first base bag bigger on the runners side would make this far easier than adding two bags and trying to get the umpires union to agree with this.

    But that is usually another year until they are developed enough. They will still need to hit the portal.

    The nothing easy is spot on for Marquette this season and their offense.
