  1. They would be selling at the lowest point. I think they would rather just wait than sell for a reliever at this point in the season. I thought the A’s would trade Rooker last year but they didn’t. I would love to have him on the Brewers. Probably would take a lot to get him from the A’s. Not sure on the other two.
  2. Made is probably the future SS for the Brewers. Pratt at 3B is not a crazy idea and some scouts believe he may have to move over to 3B if he gets bigger.
  3. Do copy as image and then select bitmap.
  4. Pratt is looking like a real superstar type of a player. If he puts on more muscle we may have our future 3B. Kind of reminds me of a young Arenado. The results are not at Arenado level yet but I think they will be soon.
  5. I am not sure the Twins would be ok with that. I think you need someone with more control than Peguero probably someone closer to Abner Uribe in terms of team control. As for Baty I don’t believe Stearns will trade him until around the deadline and probably for a reliever or a #4 or #5 starter. Right now if you want Baty you will have to overpay for him.
  6. Right but at some point they have to move on or at a minimum use Hoskins as a platoon only. That’s where Ernesto would come in. It just doesn’t make sense right now to send Bauers down and bring up Ernesto when he wouldn’t be playing all the time against RHP. I think they will give Hoskins to sometime in May to figure it out and if he doesn’t then Ernesto comes up to platoon with him. Bauers is just there because the Brewers don’t really care if he gets AB’s or not. The Brewers do care that Ernesto is getting consistent AB’s.
  7. William Contreras named NL Player of the week. https://www.mlb.com/video/william-contreras-is-named-the-nl-player-of-the-week
  8. Well Budenholzer didn’t last all that long in Phoenix. He was just fired or reportedly fired after one season with the Suns.
  9. Doubtful on that. I think they are just giving Hoskins until sometime in May to figure it out. It doesn’t make much sense to bring up Ernesto and just have him sitting on the bench 90% of the time. It is Hoskins that is blocking Ernesto and not Bauers.
  10. Too early yes but it is still concerning. Yelich against RHP: Yelich against LHP: Exit velocity isn't everything but it does tell a strong tale of what is going on. Yelich is looking like a platoon bat going forward. The thing that sucks is that the Brewers don't really have someone to replace Yelich in the lineup against LHP. Hoskins should be that player at least power wise but he has been worse than Yelich against LHP.
  11. Yelich is still concerning though his advanced stats say he should be doing better than he is. Though the eye test for Yelich is not there especially against LHP. Yelich looks like he is going to be on the down swing earlier than thought. He was good last year until the injury and now he looks like he was in 2020-2021 again.
  12. He did it throwing 125 pitches if he does that again he maybe damaged goods. 125 pitches is a lot of pitches to throw even for 10 innings. I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes down with a shoulder or arm issue. Yeah I want nothing to do with this pitcher he is being abused by the college team. He threw 117 in his last outing. He is throwing way too many pitches. He will be heading for an injury laden career thanks to his college coaches.
  13. Eh Megill looked worse. Everything was flat and very uncompetitive pitches.
  14. Not sure that would have mattered. As he is not finding the zone at all and when he does they are hangers.
  15. Yeah I am in Phoenix so no Brewers broadcast when they play the dbacks.
  16. Apparently Bill Schroeder is at the game according to the Dbacks broadcast.
  17. I am not sold on Mayo at all and I have been skeptical of him for awhile now. Still I don’t see the Orioles trading him unless you are willing to pay a ridiculous price to get him. You have to convince the Orioles to trade him so it will take a lot. Also I don’t see Mayo as a 3B he is a 1B or corner OF. I don’t see the point of trading for a 1B and losing prospect capital. That is one position I just don’t value as something you should be giving up trading capital for.
  18. Probably something just a little bit better than Dunn and Capra. Probably someone like India but with more team control.
  19. The Orioles are not trading Mayo unless you are willing to give up your top 5 prospects and those top 5 prospects all need to be in the top 100 with 3 of them being in the 10-25 range and the final two being in the 50-75 range. It is not happening.
  20. Apparently it is going to be a very hot weekend here with a possibility of it being 100 on Friday and Saturday.
  21. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Hopefully he won’t get the Gomez or Adames treatment when he is in a slump and still smiling. You know that is against the rules and you must show no smiling when that occurs. This was seriously a thing for one or two people on this board.
