  1. Another loss at home this time to a ranked team so not as bad as the previous loss. They can’t lose another in conference game going forward if they want a top 4 seed. If they lose another they are probably looking at a 6 or 7 seed. Have to basically win out and at least make the championship conference game to stay in the top 4.
  2. Dallas did a bit better than the Bucks did when they traded Ray Allen. That is the only trade I can think of right now that is similar.
  3. AI future:
  4. In the next 5 years it is probably going to be a bunch of OnlyFans AI bots.
  5. I hate how my company calculates the tax for my bonus they use the aggregate method so bonus + monthly pay over 12 months. Which puts me in the 33% tax bracket I think. Screw you Uncle Sam stop taking muh moneyz!
  6. This doesn’t make me feel any better about the loss. They should still be beating these teams.
  7. Another loss to a bad team. Yes I know it was a back to back on the road. They still need to win that game against a bad team.
  8. None of this is new. AMD is very close to replicating what NVIDIA is doing in the AI space. All of this would be already baked into any future revenue. Efficiency of the software is something that would improve so I don’t see the relevance here from this announcement.
  9. Not really. Their top models maybe impacted but they also sell other models. The sell off seemed more like a natural sell off and not something that was impacted by the announcement. If anything that announcement should have increased the stock price. Making something more efficient shouldn’t impact a company making a product. If anything it will allow for more people to get into it thus increasing demand and increasing sales. Decreasing the cost for entry will allow for more sales even if it is at a lower end product. The efficiency will also help the higher end product by allowing it to do more.
  10. The softball game I think is kind of neat. I think I would accept this if it were the Brewers. If it were a team that I don't really care about or they are not close to where I live I would rather prefer cash only. If it were the Cubs or Cardinals they would have to offer me like $500mm just to sell it to them.
  11. The Brewers probably go bat with their first pick and then pitcher with the Comp A pick and compensation pick for Adames. After that it is anyone's guess really. I don't think they will go college unless someone drops. They may go JUCO with one of the comp picks.
  12. I don't believe NVDA dropped today because of the AI announcement. NVDA is mostly a hardware company and not so much a software company. They do have some software but it wouldn't be impacted by the AI announcement today. Not really. Russia and China still scream about how they have hyper sonic missiles when they do not. Well they do but they are not truly hyper sonic. Stealth aircraft both are also behind the F-22 Raptor which was made in the 90's. Not to mention neither Russia or China have a plane like the F-35 or even the B-52. Everything China has militarily is either a hacked version of what the US or the EU has made or it is modified Soviet Union era equipment. Also the claim of China having more boats is true but look at the tonnage between the US Navy and China's Navy. Majority of their boats are coast guard level boats. So smaller boats that would be best used along the shore and not out in the open seas. When it comes to tech other than TikTok there really isn't much out there that they do better. Yes we will see. But I have my doubts.
  13. Right but first down at around the 20 is easier to defend against than at the 5 yard line. Defensively you are in a better position to stop them around the 20 than at the 5. If KC has to score from the 20 instead of at the 5 maybe Buffalo would have been able to hold them to a FG. Not a critical moment but I can see why they challenged there. It was more about the positioning on the field than if it was an INT.
  14. Take what China says with a very fine pinch of salt. They are like Russia always over hyping what they are developing can actually do. IE Russia’s military equipment being the best when it clearly is not. If we were still in the 1970’s Russia’s military tech would be impressive and the same can be said about China.
  15. I believe the thought was that it should have been incomplete. I wasn’t paying attention but it looked like the ball hit the ground and wasn’t fully in control by either player. Which would have put KC around the 20-yard line. Which would have been a more difficult spot to score from than on the 5-yard line.
  16. Well I tell them to just google some things and they just look at me with a blank stare like how do we do that.
  17. It is oversimplifying it because that is the reality for the Brewers. I don't really care about the Dodgers. The Brewers signing one player to about $4-5mm of their international bonus pool makes very little sense. The Brewers need to spread that risk out and thus why offering Sasaki anything doesn't really matter. They need to spread the money out and get as many players as they can. From all of the reports coming out about Sasaki it sounds like he is not yet MLB ready and will need some time in the minors. How much time in the minors that is tough to say. But he won't just slot into a TOR-type pitcher.
  18. Are basic problem solving skills just not taught in school anymore? I swear nearly every gen z person asks me the same question over and over again and when they run into a problem that can be solved by some small amount of basic problem solving skills they get stuck and can't move forward. Then I will get a response of I don't understand. Then it is like pulling teeth to get them to explain what they don't understand. They just say again I don't understand. I think I am just going to repeat that and say I don't understand what you don't understand. It feels like they just want me to fix whatever it is that they don't want to learn how to fix. So frustrating. Rant time. It feels like Gen Z just wants everything to work and when it doesn't work they have no idea how to fix or where to look to fix it or how to come up with a fix on their own. Not every single problem is going to be documented or known how to fix sometimes you have to use your own brain and figure out a solution. It feels like Gen Z just doesn't want to do this. They want everything to be told to them on how to fix something. Where has the intuitive and inventive thinking gone? Is it just here is how you do something if it is not written down then no solution exists and you need to give up? I would rather deal with Millennial overly complaining about anything and everything than deal with Gen Z. It is like they are a computer that hasn't received a software update in 20-years and is now trying to do a new feature in a program that it doesn't know about. I guess all of that trying to figure out how to set the clock on the VCR that had very little to no instructions or someone lost the instructions set me up for success later in life. Rant done.
  19. Why does this even matter? The Brewers made the correct move in signing multiple players instead of reducing the amount of international players they could sign by signing Rosaki. Why sign one maybe they work out player when you can sign four or five for the same amount?
  20. The Suns would have to trade Beal and I believe the Heat want someone back in return that they can use now and in the future. I don't think Khris would make sense for the Heat. Dame would still make some sense for the Heat. I believe the rumors are Beal + picks to the Heat for Butler. I just don't think Butler is a fit on the Bucks as a player. He just doesn't fit into the offense like Dame does and I think you are going backwards as I don't see the Heat wanting Khris in return. For the Suns it makes sense as you can just replace Beal with Butler and their offense doesn't really change all that much. Basically Butler becomes Khris in Bud's offense which was a mismatch for Beal. Beal can't do what Khris does but Butler can.
  21. He wouldn’t approve a trade to Milwaukee. I wouldn’t take him even if he would allow a trade to Milwaukee. You would have to trade Dame and I prefer Dame over Butler.
  22. To be fair 2nd round picks are nearly worthless in the NBA.
  23. I still believe Pujols was the other player(s) who had elevated counts when Braun was caught. Still not sure why Braun was the only player leaked who failed the test. There were others that failed but his name was the only one released. There was also the former trainer for Pujols saying he did inject steroids into Pujols. But that will all be forgotten for Pujols because he was with the Cardinals.
  24. I need some of that global warming today it was only like 30 degrees when I woke up today!!!!!!
