  1. I normally don't like this kind of music but this one was good.
  2. Oh also forgot about the Salt River Tubing. I am not sure on the water level but the last time I went it was low and well I got bruises on my backside hitting some rocks. It is more of a party crowd when going down the river. You can see some wild donkeys and mustangs from time to time. Please do not feed or get too close to them. https://www.saltrivertubing.com/
  3. 2021 and 2024 are basically the same for league wide so not sure why they need to be league adjusted numbers and it is basically the same for league adjusted. His 2021 season was just as good as his 2024 season so far. Willy has been just as good as he has been in previous seasons.
  4. Be careful with those ATV excursions as some don't mention that you need to put down a rather large deposit. Some charge up to $300 per person but make it sound like it is an all in one deposit and not per person. I suggest bringing a lot of water with you even if they say they will provide water. If you were here the next weekend I would suggest going to Fear Farm which is extremely fun. But that is mostly a night thing. https://fearfarm.com/attractions/ After the Friday night game or the Saturday night game you may want to go to Stardust Pinbar. I like the Pizza there and it is a unique place. There are also a few other bars and restaurants down there that are fun like the valley bar.
  5. It is a full season regardless. He had a bad month in 2021 and then took off. Looks very similar to his 2024 season. Regardless if he was on two teams in 2021 or not that season looks very similar to his 2024 season. This is just arguing semantics and I am not even sure what your point is here.
  6. I would still put his 2021 season as a better season than this one for Willy. League wide 2021 is very similar to 2024. If you go by wRC+ 2021 was worse than the current season.
  7. I am not even sure this is a career year for Adames. He is just above his career total slash line of .248/.322/.445 vs 2024 slash line of .253/.336/.471. Other than his slugging and OBP he is basically at where you would expect him. His OBP isn't all that out of line either only being .014 higher than his career mark which looks to be because of his reduced K% of 25.2 in 2024 versus 27.3 career. He is basically having the same year as he was last year just with a little bit more luck as his babip in 2023 was .259 versus .299 currently. Adames is actually below his career babip of .308. His slugging is also up over his career but that is only up .026. His walk rate is similar to last year but is up over his career numbers. Basically this is the same ole Willy that he has been with the Brewers and the Rays. I think 2021 was more of a career year for Adames than the current season is.
  8. Hmm 2 catchers and no 3B. Should be interesting.
  9. There is a lot to do in Phoenix but it is going to be hot though just over 100 all of next week. Things to do: Hiking at any of the mountains nearby though so this before 11am so start around 6-8 am and bring a lot of water more than you think should be necessary. Any of the zoo’s. Lake Pleasant. Top Golf Some restaurants that I recommend: Little miss bbq though the briskets at times will sell out around noon and there can be long wait times. https://littlemissbbq.com Taco Boys https://aztacoboys.com Arrogant Butcher https://www.thearrogantbutcher.com/locations/phoenix-az/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Organic&utm_campaign=Maps Stardust Pinbar https://stardustpinbar.com
  10. The Brewers greatest HR hitter of all time!
  11. With the recent CBA I am not sure the tanking issues are really that big of a problem. For example the White Sox will have the worst record in MLB and won't be able to pick any higher than 10th in next years draft. So it is possible the White Sox will have the worst record in MLB and pick 18th in the draft though that is extremely unlikely. But this resets next year and they could get the #1 pick in 2026 but then would be ineligible to pick in the top 9 again the following season. I am not really concerned about tanking with the new rules right now. I think you could lock the top 10 picks so they can't be traded if there are any concerns with tanking. I kind of like the NBA rules on draft picks. So something like the top 10 are locked and something similar to the NBA in trading draft picks. Something like teams can only trade their current years picks and can't trade future picks. I wouldn't want to see it restricted where you can't trade a pick for a player on another teams 40 man roster. I think that limits it too much and hurts more than it helps. I believe if you don't allow future draft picks to be traded then it wouldn't be all that bad for a team trading a player on its 40-man roster for a draft pick.
  12. I would take the Gruber Law Offices commercials over any of the law office ones in AZ.
  13. He is the definition of a AAAA player. He can hit AAA pitching but once he gets to MLB he is not as good.
  14. It is mostly the swings players have been able to put on him. He looks like he is starting to be going into a dead arm period. The results are there but he has been leaving a lot of pitches in the middle of the zone. I think his ERA should be higher than it is. His FIP is 3.62 and an xFIP of 4.37 in August which shows it should be higher.
  15. Ball is just not moving at all for Meyers and his accuracy is also not there. Definitely looks like he is getting tired or going through a dead arm period. Probably should skip his next start.
  16. Should be fine unless you don’t turn it back on in a few hours and keep the door open.
  17. Weeks also had very fast wrists well until he had his hand injury that is.
  18. This is just weird that Adames keeps on hitting 3-run HR’s.
  19. First half Van Dyke was ok, not great but also not bad either. He was just ok in the first half but in the second half a lot of mistakes. The Badgers don't have that vertical threat but you still have to show it to make the defense honor it. Once the Badgers showed they were not going to run those plays the short and middle passing lanes started to get clogged. The very little presnap movement is starting to get aggravating. As for the deep routes Fickell did admit that they were too conservative with the play calling and they need to get better at that in the post game interview on the field on FS1. I found that to be interesting that the whole game plan for today was to be very conservative. He also talked about a few other things that they need to work on. I came away the opposite on this. I think they didn't do enough. The TE's were there in the passing game and then all of a sudden disappeared. I think they needed to get them involved more in the passing game. Where has Nowakowski been the last few years? He looks like an actual TE and he looks to have some good hands at least on the few plays they threw to him today. This is a huge loss and I am not sure the defense will be able to recover from this and by the defense I mean the D-line. The LB's made some nice plays but they are being asked to do too much. If someone on the d-line doesn't step up it is going to be a waste of some good LB's. I am actually kind of intrigued by this LB core and they maybe one of the better LB's the Badgers have had in a few years now.
  20. Game 1 the good: 1. CB’s look solid not much to complain about here. Maybe a bit to physical at times. 2. Walker and Mellusi looked really good in the run game. 3. Offensive line didn’t commit dumb penalties and didn’t look overmatched like last year. 4. Van Dyke looks mobile enough to run the offense. the bad: 1. Receivers dropping very easy passes. 2. D-line is still getting pushed around. 3. Defensive play calling. They were caught a few times blitzing in the wrong direction leaving a WR wide open. 4. Poor tackling and gap integrity. 5. Special teams looks to be a problem this year. the ugly: 1. Offensive play calling was too conservative. Very little motion and not much creativity other than on the 2-pt conversion. 2. Offensive line still not getting to that second level on run plays. 3. Route running was very questionable at times by the WR’s. 4. Couldn’t get the TE involved enough. 5. Western Michigan’s OL got to the 2nd level too many times.
  21. That one was a bit questionable but still on the side of you go for it there. Especially how the Badgers defense has been pushed around in the run game.
  22. The LB’s are having to cover too much ground and blockers. The d-line just doesn’t have anyone that requires a double team or can take on more than one lineman. Also the d-line then comes up with a big stop where they at least held their ground.
