    Bad throw but it was a very catchable low ball throw. Hoskins just absolutely whiffed at it like his AB’s today.

    Hoskins has to be the worst 1B at scooping low throws in MLB history. I haven’t seen someone whiff so many times on low scoops as him. Definitely is a DH only at this point in his career.

    The Brewers will definitely give him the QO and get a pick once he signs somewhere and probably with the Dodgers.

    Willy is so clutch. Probably just behind Braun on the clutch hitting as a Brewer.

    More likely that he is getting tired. He is only 18 innings pitched away from last years 140 IP. I think if someone would be able to step in he would be shifted to the bullpen at some point in September. I am just not sure there is someone available to do that. He has been leaving a lot of pitches over the middle of the plate. Which to me is saying he is starting to get tired and is hitting a wall.

    At least the Pirates have recognized this but I doubt the Reds will recognize that Elly De La Cruz should be shifted to the OF. Elly De La Cruz defensively should be a better OF than he is at SS and the Reds OF is rather ugly.

    With the Cowboys extending Lamb I think this means they are going to stick with Dak and I think there will be a deal for him soon.

    I thought it was a 3-0? But still the take sign is just dumb. If a pitcher is going to give you a pitch to hit you should be swinging at it no matter what the count is.

    The Brewers are still behind their expected win loss record by one game. Which for the Brewers is extremely weird. Normally the Brewers for about the last ten years now have been outperforming their expected win loss record. You have to go back to 2016 when the Brewers were below their expected win loss record. Going back to 2012 as I am not including the COVID year and not including the current season gives us ten years worth of seasons. Of those ten seasons the Brewers have only finished below their expected win loss in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. This looks to be another year that will be below their expected win loss record. The expected win loss record really doesn't show anything but the Brewers have been consistently beating it for awhile now and this will be the first playoff run where the Brewers are not beating their expected win loss record. Take that for whatever it is supposed to mean and it is probably nothing. If you want to see something funny look at the 2018 season standings over at MLB.

    The problem with unemployment numbers right now is that some jobs get far more applicants than others. Tech jobs have far more applicants than there are jobs. Some trade jobs have a lower number of applicants than jobs available. It is skill plus an unwillingness to take jobs that are available. Some of the jobs people skip actually pay more or just about the same that are in high demand. I am not really worried about the unemployment numbers yet. They are still within acceptable numbers. Zero percent unemployment would be great but that is utopian level of thinking and utopias don’t exist.

    Off topic but US schools start way too late in the learning experience for foreign languages to actually work or stick. The best time to start learning a foreign language would be k-5 and not middle school or later. Plus the foreign language credits is the dumbest requirement. Rant done.

    For government employees yes but if they have the skills they should be able to find employment. If we follow Ron Paul’s plan it wouldn’t cause much if any unemployment.

    But we have been talked down to on how this is a great economy and you are just imagining things. It would be nice if our politicians finally wake up and stop spending more than the taxes coming in. I doubt they will and it won’t really matter who gets elected next it will be the same ole same ole.

    Intel is junk. They are going to be in serious trouble with their consumer based CPU's as some have oxidation issues. There will probably be a class action lawsuit at some point in the near future for this. Intel's entrance into the consumer GPU market is also flopping bad. Intel has been losing market share in both the consumer CPU and server side to AMD for awhile now. Intel used to dominate the server side of things being the main supplier for server CPU's and they still are but they have gone from about 90% to about 75% in the last 8 or so years. This trend looks to continue with Intel losing more and more market share in Desktop, Server, Mobile and Client. More information on the oxidation issues for Intel.

    So much for the Cardinals/Pirates/Reds being ahead of the Brewers at the end of August like was predicted by some.

    Not sure the Cardinals would do this but I would be open to acquiring Jordan Walker depending on the price.

    If you want to watch an extremely frustrating offensive team watch the Mariners. If that team had any kind of offense it would be a really good team. This the Mariners team slash line .216/.302/.367. If the Mariners didn’t have the pitching they have they would be a horrible team.

    I always loved fighter jets and WWII fighters as a kid and as an adult I still love them.
