  1. How do analysts determine a top BTC cycle of $250K-$280K? I’m not skeptical, just genuinely curious.
  2. Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s 8th season is being delayed until 2021-22. It will be the final season and consist of only 10 episodes. I guess they had trouble writing a police-themed work place comedy in the current environment. I’m disappointed to see the show end, but glad to see they will be getting a proper finale instead of just pulling the plug. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/brooklyn-nine-nine-end-long-200046325.html
  3. I’ve professed support for crypto on BF before, but I’d never give anyone the hard sell. It’s highly speculative and volatile (for now); however, it does put pressure on Central Banks to act more responsibly. For example, Bitcoin use is growing rapidly in Nigeria because people have more faith in Bitcoin than the local currency. Corrupt Central Banks in other parts of the world can also freeze banks accounts with little or no due process. A de-centralized currency like Bitcoin could empower individuals and cut down on government corruption. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-cant-be-stopped-nigerians-look-to-p2p-exchanges-after-crypto-ban%3famp=1
  4. I wonder how many novice investors bought GameStop at $300 because they thought it was going to the moon?
  5. That’s a fair point too. And I sympathize to some degree. It sounds like his wife is expecting and he probably has her health and the health of the baby in mind.
  6. This is exactly what happens when they don't throw the vaccines away (and they shouldn't). Someone's gonna skip the line and sometimes that person will be rich. I’m not upset that he received the vaccine. I’m upset that he took to Twitter to brag about it. For a guy who prides himself on being a community leader, that showed an awful lack of self awareness. Clearly, I’m not the only person who thinks so if the local news cranked out a story right away.
  7. Alex Lasry got a COVID vaccine early and then posted about it on Twitter. I get that occasionally people jump the line because hospitals have batches that will go bad if not used quickly enough, but what horrible optics. https://www.wbay.com/2021/01/29/33-year-old-bucks-exec-alex-lasry-gets-covid-vaccine-early/
  8. Regarding the Roth vs. Traditional debate: Remember, there will likely always be a standard deduction in place. You’re probably OK keeping some funds in a traditional 401(k) or IRA because you should be able to sneak a little money out tax free every year.
  9. To quote Mortimer from Trading Places, "SELL!! SELL!!! SELL!!!!" $300 as of 5:00 am ... this is just silly. These guys are going to ruin commission-free retail investing for the 99.9% of individualis who do it responsibly.
  10. That GameStop story is wild. Basically a bunch of retail investors on Reddit colluded to buy up shares of GameStop stock and force institutional investors to buy GameStop at an inflated price to cover their short positions.
  11. El Paso is closer to San Diego than it is Houston.
  12. [sarcasm]I don’t think you framed that question correctly. In addition to being consistently good, we also got a sledding hill.[/sarcasm]
  13. That was my thought too. Flashback to the 2011 Divisional. Add the Aaron Jones fumble and subsequent score. It was the devastating turn of events I expected all year long.
  14. They are currently $28 million over the cap. They used any wiggle room they had to sign a soon-to-be 30-year old tackle with a torn ACL. The term ‘hell’ may be a bit of hyperbole, but this won’t be a walk in the park.
  15. More than likely. They’re headed for salary cap hell even if they can use cuts and re-structuring to buy them another year.
  16. I have less of a problem with that than I do the failed 2 pt conversion. It’s easier to justify the 4th down call when you only need one play to go your way and not two.
  17. 26 is the magic number. Packers scored 26, but allowed more than 26. Part of that is on the offense for their 2 turnovers.
  18. Anyone else think Patrick Queen would have been good for one extra stop today?
  19. One QB had a passer rating of about 80.0 and the other had one of about 100.0. Yet, history will regard the one with the 80.0 rating as the ‘greatest of all time.’ Unbelievable. I’m not even that upset. We all knew this is how it would end.
  20. I’ll give this a bump, per BF tradition.
  21. Let me throw this out there in case a crummy game warps my perspective: It has been awesome having a full NFL season this year. No matter what happens today, I’ve enjoyed this season. Go Pack Go!
  22. True, there are reasons for Packer fans to be optimistic, but I’m still feeling like the Michael Scott meme right now.
  23. If the Bucs hold the Packers to 19 points, they will have earned this one. I would be absolutely stunned if that were the case with this offense. I’ll stick with the line I mentioned yesterday: In the Rodgers’ era, the Packers are 1-7 in the playoffs when they give up 26 or more points, but 10-1 when they hold opponents to 25 or fewer points. I think this Packers offense is good enough to score 26 against the Bucs. The big mystery is whether the defense can hold the opponent under 26. There isn’t a ton of wiggle room here because I don’t see the Packers’ scoring 30 against this defense.
  24. Plus King is ACTIVE! No big surprises on the Packers’ Game Day roster. Keke is out (as expected). Josh Jackson and Jace Sternberger are healthy scratches.
