  1. If you looking to buy a single ball, then no. If your looking to buy a dozen or more, then Anderson Enterprises KPT out of Michigan. You would have to call for pricing.
  2. Teams are going to wait until what games if any will be played. They will then announce what they will do with the non played games. Your circumstances are different than most, and probably be taken care of with a talk on the phone. You should probably wait until there is an announcement either way on the status of games.
  3. The yahoo football draft I'm in is a slow draft, so I would think they would have one for baseball also.
  4. My senior year in football I broke my wrist on the first day of pads. I also broke the bone that distributes blood to the thumb. 3 months minimum in a cast. I dreamed for 10 years of my senior year gone in one play. I got over it, and so will these kids. I know I'm in the minority. Hell, I might be the only one, but schools can get rid of most sports in high school. There is such a large AAU presence now. The popularity of high school athletics over AAU is an American passion. In Europe, the players place much more importance in AAU over high school.
  5. I think people need to grasp the fact that Miller, the company name is no more. It's only a matter of time before the company is gone totally from Milwaukee.
  6. Even if one parent is able to take off work way too many people live pay check to pay check. They don’t have any type of emergency fund.
  7. I'm not going to dispute that the rules for facial hair are generally stupid, but the more likely reasons for letting him keep it are how iconic his beard is...and he's a highly paid player that he wants to keep happy. I recall numerous past instances of White Sox management being a bit obtuse about really small things...the biggest being Adam LaRoche abruptly retiring because they complained to him about having his kid around the clubhouse too often. This is just a fun way to help build a positive relationship with one of your most highly paid players. I get that but it's an obvious double standard. What happens when the 26th guy on the roster grows a lumberjack beard? Will they tell him to trim it and what if he doesn't? You can't have a rule and then only enforce it for certain players. The article even mentions they made Chris Sale and Jose Abreu trim their beards. There are superstar rules and everybody else rules. The 26th player will get his ass sent back to the minors for someone else that will obey the rules.
  8. I’m not a Badger fan even in the slightest, but ex Wisconsin running back James White has done pretty well for himself in the NFL. A team captain on a perennial Super Bowl team is a pretty high achievement.
  9. I liked the Miller name as much as anyone. MillerCoors dropped the Miller name to Molson Coors. I'm sure its only a matter of time before Miller is wiped out of Milwaukee all together.
  10. I called the Wisconsin Center to find that the doors open at 7:00. I looked at the A to Z guide saying that the doors to the building open up at 7:00. My daughter and I made it in line at 7:30 with the doors not open with the line going around the block. Us, like most people, leave our jackets in the car and we are wearing a t-shirt underneath a sweatshirt. Us like everyone else was pretty cold. The doors finally open at 8:00 and I'm pretty upset at this time. They let in a good amount of people to where we were about 30th inline outside. The line stops and we stand waiting again. At the 8:20 mark with what I see no one moving inside the vestibule I ask my daughter if she wants to go home. We were both freezing, and I'm extremely pissed off. We went home for the day. Its like the Brewers try to figure out how they can screw this event up worse every year.
  11. I'm guessing Connor is just trying to find a job, any job for 4 months. I would think you would be happy if he shows up when he's suppose to, on time, and capable of doing whatever task he's suppose to do. That would probably be more important than your common interests.

  14. After the 95-98% off of apparel and hats at the Clubhouse sale Saturday I won't need any new gear for a long time.
  15. Millennials are damned if they do and damned if they don't. They get blamed for a downturn in many brands including Harley Davidson. Now, they are blamed for rising Christmas tree costs. https://www.tmj4.com/news/national/millennials-are-driving-up-cost-of-christmas-trees?fbclid=IwAR1VJRPyw_xHauRAjvCOWsN5pkD7D2-Xz3uKhC5t_Ke5w8nCfKAoXW79PUs
  16. I'm a teamster and will try to buy union made items if possible. I'm a Ford buyer, and I have really never had a problem with any of the Fords I've bought. All my kitchen appliances are Whirlpool which are made in America. I'm a UPS driver and I have the ability to go into many businesses throughout the year. I ask a lot of questions on products to the repair/parts distributors.
  17. We all knew what was going on. We all knew Canseco was taking them when he was playing bumper cars with his wife on the city streets.
  18. Larry Walkers home road splits with the Coors effect is enough for me to believe he’s not a HOFer. His MVP season was tremendous, but pretty much other than that year he wasn’t outstanding outside of Coors.
  19. As I Marquette fan I don't want to get excited. Something bad always happens to this team when things look good for them.
  20. Making a television show https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/fox-filed-ok-boomer-trademark-application-for-tv-show/ar-BBWXB4Z?ocid=spartandhp
  21. https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/article/99-pack-of-pabst-blue-ribbon-coming-to-milwaukee-in-time-for-holidays/ar-BBWPpoP?ocid=spartandhp How do you fit this in the cart?
  22. Right or wrong for me meaning do I start a 529 account right away or pay my debt first. I don't know which would have saved me the most money in the long term.
  23. My boomer father was a carpenter and drywaller. When the recession in the early 80's hit the interest rated skyrocketed. There was no work, and I remember my father standing in line for government cheese. There was no way I would ever go into the trades. I would make sure I put myself in a position, so that would never happen to me. I'm not against the trades, but I want people to know what could and might happen when there is an economic slowdown. Right or wrong... I chose not to save any money for my kids education. I work extremely hard to pay off my house, dump as much money as I can in a 401k, and be completely debt free. I've haven't had any credit card interest or car loan interest since 1997. My 1st daughter will graduate high school in 5.5 years and my 2nd in 7.5 years. My house will be paid off in just less than 5 years. College bills scare me... my oldest wants to be an early education teacher and my youngest a pediatrician.
  24. I'm sure Redskin fans would call him a bust being the 4th overall. Lots of Packer fans think AJ Hawk was a bust at #5, and he's the Packers all time leader in tackles for a career.
  25. Yes they would and that wouldn't go into the Brewers revenue stream. Social areas in place of low revenue (often empty) seats will meet the same demand that exists for those who go to the stadium for the tailgate. I can't be the only one who runs in a social circle in which the ladies of the group would never attend a game if not for tailgating. When I go with the guys, we spring for great seats and use them. When we bring our wives and girlfriends, we buy the cheapest tickets we can and then take in the action from various social spots throughout the stadium. Do people here not realize that if not for the large number of social reasons other than the game itself, Milwaukee would not repeatedly rank in the upper half of MLB attendance? Tailgating helps drives baseball in Milwaukee. And finding new ways to tap into the various reasons that people attend other than the game is smart business. It doesn't bother me one iota that there are people who don't like the fact that there are thousands in attendance each game who aren't focused on every pitch. There's nothing more annoying than falling down drunks spread all over the concourse. It does bother me that people don't understand why those people are important to the Brewers bottom line. I'm not going to argue any of your points. I would like to know how much money is generated via ticket prices versus the rest of the league. I understand when people get in the door they spend money. I just want to see what the ticket revenue actually is when all the BP, Pick n Save, and comp tickets that the Brewers do versus other teams that don't do much of any of that like the Red Sox.
