anyone else see that nbc bought premier league american tv rights starting next season? hopefully this wont mean less games televised but i bet it will since they wont have a dedicated soccer channel like fox does.

soria would be worth taking a look at. melvin likes to give blown out former closers 1/10 mil deals though. 1/2.5 mil with a incentive filled option for like 4 mil could be pretty good. isnt matt capps a free agent? he might be worth taking a look at as well. -
if the giants paid half his salary and didnt ask for much in return there would be 25 other teams willing to take the chance. he had a down year, a terrible year even, but he is not far removed from being the most dominating pitcher in the nl for FOUR YEARS.

I checked out skrillex a few months back and they are just as bad. The kid ftom skrillex was in an awful punk/hardcore band called From First to Last. They opened up almost every concert i saw one summer and he danced around like a peacock. Doug Benson made a joke once saying that is favorite dubstep is any kind that is playing in a room that he is not in- pretty much sums up my thoughts on dubstep as well.

i'm not a big techno fan but with all the hype i've heard of this guy i figured i should give it a chance. i have to say..... he's not changing my mind. what is the appeal of this stuff? if it was just about dancing i'd understand but people actually seem to like to listen to this. i'm only 26 so i doubt its because i'm too old for this stuff. what am i missing?

I know you are being sarcastic here but I would look into seeing if he would give up Brett Anderson. He is signed through 2015 with two team buyouts and depending on what the Beane would want for Anderson I would definitely be interested in him. The Brewers would have him for his prime but he maybe to much of a injury risk to sign to a longer term deal or even give up the prospects needed for him. . getting anderson would be awesome! due to his injury history i doubt they would have to give up too much. he is very much a high risk/very high reward guy. the brewers could probably be ok with taking the chance with burgos and thornburg in AAA in case he gets hurt again. -

i dont know a whole lot about pena, giacalone,or mcfarland but there numbers at helena were pretty good. that looks like a championship repeat for sure to me. the 3b options aren't all that impressive, i'm sure mike garza will be back. he only played 38 games for wi and he had good numbers for helena in his short stint there.

does anyone have an extra hunter morris card from the 2010 t-rats team set? i'm looking to get all of his cards(base/autos- not really parrallels) . i have plenty of cards to trade and will definatly make it worth your while.

that penalty was well deserved. i dont think the red card was necessary though. uniteds defense looked like crap. rvp and kagawa didnt seem to be interested in getting the ball at all.
