    Visquel is 104 and Id rather him be on the brewers bench then yuni. Doug went the entire off-season without doing anything too stupid, then he shoots himself in the foot twice in a week. Can We blame this week on delayed hysteria from the scorpion?

    Can someone tell me why gonzo is the starting 1b over halton? I know halton isnt a sexy pick but i have a card time wrapping my head around a ss being a better option at 1st then an actual 1b. From what little i saw of haltons spring, it didnt seem terrible.

    The cardinals wont get "our" pick, they get an additional pick after the first round. I may be wrong though.

    I like this a lot! With How much under budget they are this year I think it would have been smart to try to add a couple mil to this season and have that last year be less.

    That Canadian team was fun to watch today. Green was awesome. I don't really like usa's chances if they play like they did against Mexico (both teams).

    boston acquired carp, which makes no freaking sense at all.

    don't get me wrong, i 100% agree that halton isnt as good a prospect as hunter is. it's just not the brewers style to rush a prospect, especially if it means skipping a level.

    I wonder why sean halton has not been brought up at all. What aspect of his game is so severely lacking that rushing hunter up is a better option? He has always put up pretty decent numbers. I really have no idea about his defense but its kinda surprising to me that the guy that spent last year in AAA isn't being brought up.

    I've heard that the belief is they already have a trade basically set up involving him and that is why he was dfa'd. Hard to think he's the least valuable player on Seattle's 40 man.

    DFAing stubbs would not make that trade awful by any means. cleveland got trevor bauer, matt albers, bryan shaw, and stubbs for choo, lars anderson, jason donald, and tony sipp. then signed swisher and bourn. they will be ok.

    i was just thinking about bud norris. he will have the largest contract on the astros next season with a whopping 3mil. i'd wonder what it would take to get him. i'd say scooter but they already have one tiny 2b. maybe logan schafer and a pitcher?

    So Alec doesn't think peralta, thornburg, or burgos make the rotation? I wonder who he expects they sign? I highly doubt peralta doesn't make the rotation.

    let's start this up again. i REALLY want baseball to start soon. Ryan Braun is the second greatest jew in history. If my wife left me for him, i'd give her a hi-five. I think his defense is pretty good,

    i find it extremely hard to say how valuable seguras 2019 season would be to the team. obviously we have no idea what the system will have for depth in 6 years. the 3-4 mil would be much better going somewhere else right now. i'd say we're pretty well covered at short with segura and bianchi. if gonzalez took a minor league deal i would say sign him up and he and bianchi can fight over backup/triple-a.

    wow- that netherlands team has a LOT of shortstops! jurickson profar, andrelton simmons, hainley statia, Xander Bogaerts, and nick urbanus are all on the roster and their primary position is shortstop.

    i completly agree with this, but gallo strikes out alot and i think that he gets more love then deserved since he was drafted by texas. their system tends to get a little more attention then most. gallo should have been the pick over haniger and, i might be wrong here, adam brett walker should have been the next pick instead of taylor. could you imagine the power bats that would come from a draft of coulter/roache/gallo/abw? i think haniger and taylor are too similar a player as well.
