  1. Just felt like Minny took a foot off the gas too soon. The Packers do not have an answer for them.
  2. Fully expect Minnesota to throw at least once.
  3. I have like .01% faith we're getting the ball again. Since we technically can give up a FG I would have just done the kick onside.
  4. That stuff happens, bad defense, ok. But they made a deliberate decision with 13 seconds to play to just let Minnesota pick up whatever underneath and kick a field goal. You might as well keep it a one possession game. If they hit a big gainer, well ok then they kick the FG. Even if they get a TD, which is bad, it's a 2 possession game which it also is with a FG. It was a situation where any points were a huge deal and they didn't treat it like one.
  5. The most shocking part of this game is that the Packers actually still have all 3 of their timeouts.
  6. It's not that scientific for me. It's that I've watched some outstandings Vikings teams blow it.
  7. I don't like when people pick one play early in the game and then pretend that the rest of the game would have unfolded the same. But I'm about to do it: That total concession to give up a FG before the half is big. And of course he missed the FG and we bailed them out.
  8. Stokes has been a bust since the beginning. He was one of those guys who was not good at all but for some reason escaped any real criticism and you were always told to wait for him to be healthy or whatever.
  9. You don't 'get' Vikings choke comments? Were you born before or after the Obama administration?
  10. I was going to say something similar. It's honestly been kind of a weird game. That's a bizarre stat line in the 4th quarter of a game you've been losing the entire time. Even weirder when Jacobs has over 4 yards a carry.
  11. Minnesota dominated them twice much more severely than Detroit did.
  12. Try again. I said just play Philly and have them put old yeller down or surprise everyone with a win. I also said it's a game absolutely no one will expect them to win. Old Yeller meaning Green Bay. If we aren't good enough to go anywhere I couldn't care less about (maybe) beating Tampa or whatever in the Wild Card. Just give me the best team first.
  13. Sorry, I can't get this top quote out of here for some reason. Did you even read the post?
  14. I'd still rather have Love on a team than Darnold and there are several likewise who've had better seasons but I'd still take Love. In no particular order, Mahomes, Burrow, Allen are guys are definitely a different level, probably Hurts with what he does on the ground too. After that it gets really subjective, maybe a name or two I forgot.
  15. I have to agree. We all know what the weaknesses of the team are but Love's inconsistent if not mediocre season has to be a concern.
  16. Yeah, I gotta be honest. I was fine with losing this game and borderline preferred it as long as it was like the Lions 2.0 game, but this absolute wet fart has me thinking this is more of a top 10 team than a top 3 team. They've just done this too often against top contenders, it can't be excused away. It's who they are.
  17. The Vikings won't win the Super Bowl and the Lions possibly could so I definitely prefer Minnesota to get 1.
  18. If we weren't going to come out and blow the doors off in this one I think I'd rather just have a more fun game in Philly that absolutely nobody expects us to win. Put old yeller down quickly or surprise everyone with a huge win.
  19. It's just an IGT thing to make the Packers sound like the worst team in the NFL any game they're losing. Even if it's by like 7 points. That said, I think the Packers have habitually been flat, with a lot of these kinds of mistakes in these huge games quite a bit this year that there is valid criticism to be made. To me, it just looks like a good team that is, young, and still on the upswing, but not ready for the brightest lights quite yet. On offense they lack a receiver that really scares anyone and defensively they rush inconsistently and lack a playmaker in the middle.
  20. Not a defensive coordinator but it sure looked like the Packers protected the end zone there and gave up whatever underneath. Which is pretty dumb. It's massive to keep them out of a FG there.
  21. Love quietly wasn't very good against New Orleans either. He was off quite a bit.
  22. Packers do seem to do this kind of thing a lot against better opponents. Feels like every loss this year is loaded with missed opportunities. It always feels like they move the ball but make a lot of unforced errors on offense.
  23. I don't think anyone has supreme confidence in the Packers winning 3 playoff games. It's more that there isn't a runaway team, nor is there a huge gap between 1 and 7. And that the Packers do have a talented team that looks very good at times. I think it's entirely possible the Packers lose their first playoff game. If it's the Rams it's probably about 50/50 and they're an underdog against either Detroit or Philly but it's still a game I'd think they have a chance to win, unlike prior years where I almost knew with certainty who they couldn't beat.
