  1. Yes, maybe continuing toward Love could've been better, but Doubs did the right thing by not just stopping there. Good chance that was picked even with Doubs staying and waiting there with the CB still cutting back in front of him. Overall though... despite the 2 INTs, I think he continues to look better. But we need to get him to start with the second half. He really struggles to get into the game the first half. 64% completion overall which is decent.
  2. He threw it to where Doubs WAS. But the ball wasn't there... CB breaking on Doubs, Doubs does the right thing by keep moving. By the time he was 4 yards away, Love threw it to where he WAS. It was late.
  3. Realize that Love threw the ball where Doubs was, stopped, then turned and cut back to the endzone. It was seconds late for Doubs original route.
  4. Had to be Love. Even if Doubs sits there and waits for it, the ball is way too late.
  5. He isn't good enough to take it out 8 yards deep. If he is one yard deep... maybe. But way too many times he is trying to punch a return ticket to he pro bowl.
  6. Wicks has been MIA tonight...
  7. He's lost us 30-40 yards by not kneeling...
  8. Yeah, I was going to say he has been one of the bright spots this game on D. Still is, but that takes a bit of a shine off it. But I agree with others... better to make a mistake with aggression than not...
  9. The problem is none of the three are slot CBs.
  10. It isn't like Douglas is a bad CB either... Stokes does have to re-"win" the starting spot.
  11. I saw nothing...
  12. It think the team needs to start the game with a halftime speech.
  13. We could've had both... Lions drafted Branch with the 2nd round pick we traded to them.
  14. No Douglas either.
  15. Nice we got the penalty.... but I hate the jump and point game...
  16. Love does have some really horrible stretches.... He is barely over 50% completion on the season. That isn't good. He has made some incredible plays, but he is so inconsistent. Just like against the Saints, he keeps throwing balls to covered WRs at spots where it is easy to knock down.
  17. It was Nixon. That was the one time per game he doesn't return the ball 8 yard deep in the endzone...
  18. Well at least one Packer is having a good game... the punter.
  19. Terrible decision! BA had a smoking hot 833 OPS for Sept! Really sad that he couldn't just hit his career norms of 252/336/404/740. That would've been a huge contribution this year. That would've been the 3B we needed. I had a lot of hope when he signed (and especially starting off hot). Wow did that take a turn no one expected.
  20. They should've just untucked their shirts in celebration of the win.
  21. Not really... They always find a way to make their money... I just figured if you pay for MLB.TV that you should be able to watch those games and not be required to go to prime or apple tv. Or football on Peacock now...
  22. A little pressure off helps too, I'm sure.
  23. Those are the risks you take to get a pro bowler. A 2nd round pick and cash isn't that big of a risk frankly. Especially with the numbers of people we have on rookie contracts.
  24. I'm really excited about this. A slight hit on our depth at SG, but otherwise a big improvement. I like Drue, but his D never seemed to have much impact in the post season (save for that beauty of a steal on Smart) and his offense was rarely trouble to defend. Will be interesting to see Dame's 3pt percentage at the end of the season as I suspect it will be north of 40%. If Beasley can stay healthy (and everyone else, but Beasley seems to have issues here), our starting 5 is clearly the top.
  25. We finally broke the old choke-hold of cable or satellite forcing us to buy tons of channels we don't want. We can purchase streaming services we want (like MLB TV). So in response, all the streaming services split up games to force you to buy multiple services just to watch the games. 😡
