No, but I could see a scenario where they say Chuorio (all OFs) is totally healthy, so lets add the bat instead of the pinchrunner (who is only needed for Vaughn).

He can ask, but there is no way he is traded before there is one year left in the arby years. Mgmt would be crucified if they traded him away. If Skenes made a public stink and they got an absolute boatload in a trade, I could see trading him away with 2 arby years remaining.

Priester would be ranked 1`6th best ERA in all of baseball if you look at qualifying innings pitchers - but he needs a few more innings to get to that threshhold.

I'm not saying Yoho will be on the playoff roster, but I am not so sure team management is staunchly production over potential. It's a weighting of risk/reward. If they were strictly production, they wouldn't have given Chourio a huge contract before he even played an MLB game.

It such the distant past, I don't remember. The thing about adding more bullpen arms, was there room for anyone else after we added Miller? Or would we have had to dfa someone to make room? And then who would you dfa, everybody was pretty decent at the end of July. The pain came afterwards.

Despite Vaughn's error the other game, he is better than Hoskins on defense, right? Or have I just randomly missed the plays he isn't making? Edit: I really laid in the jinx on this one.

Still won't be even close to the pressure of a postseason appearance. So all the better to get some type of pressure now. So that if/when he is actually makes an appearance in the playoffs (this year or next😉) he is just a teeny bit more ready.

So we don't get an an extra pick when Collins wins ROY because he wasn't considered a top prospect at the beginning of the season. Is that right? But we will lose one year of team control?

My biggest fear was that Murphy would play the grizzled veteran Hoskins quite a bit in place of Vaughn. But the longer Vaughn keeps on keeping on, even Murphy wouldn't do that, right? Right? -

So, I don't see a trade by the White Sox moving Civale?.... He pitched so bad, they couldn't move him? Wouldn't have guessed that when this trade first happened. -
I don't think that he has as good job prospects as you think, once he is done in SD. Unless he can show he was forced to do some of the moves by the owner.
