  1. Found it. Hopefully we get some updates and see him game action soon.
  2. Didn’t Knoth pitch all last season and presumably was an offseason surgery? And was there an update on Galindez recently- I can’t seem to find that post if there was one, or I imagined an update. Anyone recall?
  3. Just your classic 1-2-3 GIDP to end the game after 2 HBP load the bases. Alright Shuckers win 6-5. Nice come back win. That's a good end to the evening with TRats and Shuckers atoning for the walk off loss by Nashville and the complete domination by Lynchburg. OH wait - Complex Crew still playing and it's now 13-4, they may try to claw back. I don't think there were any other great performances by and Brewers prospects tonight, were there ? 😉
  4. Bo Bowman on to close it out. Please Bo get these last few outs.
  5. Shuckers get exactly what they want, a base hit on the first batter. Wilken hits his 16th single of the year, but Pratt gets to 3rd base. Then an infield pop up, and a fly to shallow RF and it's 2 outs, and unable to get a run across. Ugh. Up to Vargas and he gets a hit. How Spain doesn't score, but the throw gets away and he heads for home but they tag Vargas going to 2nd a split second before Spain scores, and it's only a 1 run single?? At least they got a run, really should have had 2, or even more. That inning was weird. I'll have to look at the base running again, but with 2 outs Spain (who pinch ran for Wilken) should have scored easily on that hit I would have thought, but maybe it wasn't as deep as I remembered when watching it live.
  6. On to extras in Chattanooga. Childers makes you sweat with 2-out single and walk. But he gets the out. Now for that Shuckers offense to get a run .... or two would be nice. I see Aaron Ashby has his first save of the year tonight - which is obviously the "Story" of the big league game 🤣
  7. A 1-2-3 inning for the Shuckers 1-2-3 hitters. Dang it. Adams pops up, Lara with a grounder and just a step away from an infield hit, and Pratt pops out. Let's hope for extras with a scoreless 9th please? And Stiven Cruz with 2 quick outs.. and he closes it out. Final 9-2 TRats with a win.
  8. Holy heck, I just saw the ACL game and now 13-0 top of 3 😳. They have allowed 13 runs on 10 hits with 3 errors, and the offense has only 1 hit. Yikes. And it is Stiven Cruz on for Aquino to try to close out a 9-2 game.
  9. So a 5-run pad the lead inning in the top of 9 for T-Rats, who now lead 9-2. That offense is now the one clicking with Areinamo-Burke-Dinges-E.Garcia. I doubt Aquino comes out for the 9th for a 3-inning save with the long top of the 9th, but you never know? Tyler Bryant gets 3Ks around a single and a double, to pitch a scoreless 8th. Need some more runs boys, c'mon Shuckers!!!
  10. Eduardo Garcia is still clawing his way back to prospect status. Another big hit. 2 run double. And it's now 7-2 TRats.
  11. Shuckers tie it up. Wood doubles and Vargas single gets him home. Restituyo with a flare to shallow left and the rally ends. T-Rats get another run via Blake Burke hit. And now 2 men on with Dinges hit. Trying to pad the lead.
  12. Pratt grounds it straight to the 3B. And it's a 5-4-3 DP, and the rally ended before it began. Seems like Pratt has a little bit of bad luck (some poor swings) but some bad luck with hits right at fielders. Az Crew finally get out of the first. Mercedes only went 0.2 IP. And it is a 7-0 deficit. You're gonna need a bigger comeback.
  13. Ha. Wild pitch and it's 6-0 in Arizone. Patricio Aquino does a nice job, gets an out then a HBP and soft single, and then Ks the next two. Still a 4-2 lead for TRats. Shuckers with a couple runners on, let's get those runs back !!
  14. Complex game doing ACL things. After the first out it goes: Walk, error, error, walk, single, double and walk, and it's a 5 run top of the 1st for Dodgers. Ugh, not a good start there
  15. Hunt at 88 pitches, gets the out. And he is then pulled. Mendoza in and second pitch gives up a HR, loses the lead. Ugh Hunt almost closed out the 6th, just like DeBerry, he couldn't cross the finish. But TRats bullpen bail him out, while Biloxi 'pen not so much. Let's hope the offense can get this game back. Hunt deserved a win after his challenging first 2 innings tonight.
  16. Luis Lameda in for the 8th inning. Scoreless. "Cy" Lameda - let's get him starting lol.... Hunt may be running out of gas with 2 singles allowed. C'mon let's get outta this KC.
  17. Matt Wood flies out for what should have been out #3, and it falls between the RF and CF and Wood hustles to 2nd base. That's a "double" and an RBI double to make it 4-2 Shuckers. Carolina still offensively challenged. Only 3 hits tonight. Remember when they were the team dropping 10+ runs a game?? Jesus Made started hot, but really has cooled a lot the past month or so, and I mean he is just-turned-18 years old and struggling in his first season of stateside baseball. Yeah I'm still impressed! DiTuri - maybe he is the young "Turang" - as he did start hot out of the gates last 2 years only to cool off quite a bit. Just like our big league 2nd basemen who also starts out hot for about 6 weeks and then.....
  18. Broca time is not going so well to start. That is 7 straight balls. So one walk and a 3-0 count now. And it's a strike 1 (golf claps around) Then a fly out to left, phew. It's still a 4-2 game. DeBerry just couldn't close it out in the 6th.
  19. DeBerry goes 5 strong innings, and tries to get through the 5th but runs into trouble with a 1-out single then a walk. Next batter strikes out and then uber-prospect Z. Hope doubles and it's 4-2 TRats still, and DeBerry may be out now.... yes he is and it's Broca time.
  20. Hunt settled in. After about 40 pitches to get through the first 2 innings, he's at 71 pitches to get through 5 IP. And had retired 10 in a row. That is the signs of life he is showing. Trying to start that way and maintain is the key for him. It's a rough start, or a rough inning that derails him the past month. You got this KC, let's use this start as a springboard to an amazing 2nd half! Carolina is giving up more runs. Dikember's season in 2025 is just not there - wild, erratic and hitable.
  21. I step away and things go south quickly in Lynchburg - after Hodges loads the bases, it's Dikember time and he too is just not the same this year. Balk, error (by Made 😥) and single and it's a 4 run inning. 10-1 deficit. Meanwhile Adams hits his 10th HR to give Biloxi a 3-2 lead, alright!!
  22. I guess some good news, as the T-Rats are up 4-0 now with a 3-run inning now. Shuckers get a run back after a Lara infield single, then SB. And Pratt sac bunt. Then Wilken with another double to left field. That's nice to see. 29 of Brock's 44 hits are XBH (2B or HR, with no 3B)
  23. Anderson walks, and moves to 2nd on a balk. Then DiTuri flies out and Holguin flies out moving Anderson to 3rd. Tyler Rodriguez hits it hard to 3rd base and a very nice play and strong throw to just get Tyler, end of inning, just the 1 run via Pena.
  24. Scoreless in Lynchburg no more ... Pena with a HR to dead center. Didn't look crushed, and if you go by the announcer you would have no idea it was HR, it was simply "fly ball to the wall, no it's out" or something like that. 6-1.. Yes thank you Luis Pena!
