  1. Off subject, be big boys and just move to Madison.
  2. Angel Salome actually was having better stats than Lucroy when they were at AA. Something happened to Angel and he just fell off the prospect list. I hope he is doing well.
  3. Here is a list of our catching prospects as of June 2016. The list has gotten much younger and has a few prospects that were drafted much earlier in the draft. I would think with Nottingham and one or two of the other prospects making it to AAA and hopefully Milwaukee within the next five years. Of the young catchers I really like Feliciano and Henry. AA Jacob Nottingham Age: 21 (April 3, 1995) 6th Round 2013 A+ Dustin Houle Age: 22 (November 9, 1993) 8th Round 2011 A+ Greg McCall Age: 24 (December 25, 1991) 9th Round 2014 A- Max McDowell Age: 22 (January 12, 1994) 13th Round 2015 R+ Johel Atencio Age: 19 (September 17, 1996) Signed ? R+ Cooper Hummel Age: 21 (November 28, 1994) Round 18 2016 R+ Nathan Rodriguez Age: 20 (September 30, 1995) Round 21 2016 R- Mario Feliciano Age: 17 (November 20, 1998) Round 2 CBB R- Payton Henry Age: 18 (June 24, 1997) Round 6 2016 R- Zach Taylor Age: 20 (October 29, 1995) Round 15 2015 R- Yoel Vasquez Age: 19 (August 20, 1996) Signed ?
  4. Brent Sutor to Milwaukee when we need another starter. He is 26 and he deserves a shot. Maybe we get a Fiers type of performance from him.
  5. Having two good defensive short stops is a blessing. I see only bright things from these two. I hope we can get a haul for Lucroy!
  6. I like the multiple catchers in the 2016 draft. Some good short stops and a few third baseman, and looks like quality college arms. Overall a good job!
  7. Lopez, Robles , Reetz, and Ward for Braun and $20,000,000 and you got a deal.
  8. How about Dane Dunning out of Florida.
  9. Who are the next best pitchers for the third round?
  10. WHo should we draft in the third round? Rizzo and Mendoza are high ranked left handed 3Bers. I would pick either if they are signable.
  11. Let's draft a few catchers, ss and starting pitchers.
  12. LA Dodgers.... Nelson and Lucroy for a bunch of their young pitching.

  14. Now the Rangers are interested in Norris of the SDP. I think that is a smoke screen. I really think they want Lucroy as a first option, they are just playing with us , so they don't have to give back as much.
  15. Everyone knew Davis was going, sooner or later. Getting a top catching prospect for him is good enough for me.
  16. Maybe, maybe not. Garza blows out his elbow May 1 and Capuano ( or any AAAA pitcher) takes his place. Minors stay the same. I am now done with Garza in this thread. Anybody else want to talk about him, go ahead.
  17. This is a Minor League Thread. Everybody knows Garza in and out, he is a major Major League problem.
  18. If Garza has stats like below for the first half of the year, he is very tradable... W-L ERA IP BB SO WHIP 4-4 3.64 80 25 63 1.182 By the way, those were his stats on average for half of 2014. Now, can we get back to a minor league discussion?
  19. I look at Burgos as a Carlos Villenuava type, kinda small, kinda soft toss, but sneaky when he is on. Long Relief might be his future, which is really ok. Houser may start in AAA, but he may need a little booster before moving up.
