    If Corey is on the team next year he is playing first. Gamel's going to need to learn a new position and tear the cover off the ball if he wants to start anywhere.

    If Braun doesn't win, you can blame the PED hullabaloo. But you also equally blame Axford. If he doesn't tank for half the season the Brewers almost definitely win a wild card spot.

    Henderson and Kintzler stay. I would try to capitalize on Axford's good finish and trade him. Everyone else is gone.

    Livan doesn't have stuff or control. He's a body. I'm sick of seeing bullpen's full of Manny Para's. Guys who throw hard and have a decent breaking ball but can't consistently put it within a foot of the plate.

    Well suffice to say I strongly disagree. I think he has the best control of anyone in our BP. He usually walks guys because he's working the corners. But is it fair to say then that you don't want Axford in Milwaukee? I mean if you're saying you don't want him at all because of his control, then I'm guessing you're strongly against Axford being a late inning guy for us next year as he actually has no idea where the ball is going at times and his control is much-much worse. K-Rod's issue for a period of time was his command, not his control. By the way, K-Rod has 6 walks in the last two months, and his BB rate is nearly identical to what his career average has been. He also has an xFIP of 3.77. So I don't think your post reflects what he's done in the last couple months for us whatsoever. Axford by the way has walked more more than one hitter per inning than K-Rod. Yes. I would love to see Axford traded. He's way too inconsistent with his control. I'm sick of bullpen's full of "stuff" guys. Give me a bullpen full of control guys.

    You can show me all the stats you want but just watch him. He has no idea where the ball is going. When fate puts the ball near the strikezone, he gets outs. When it doesn't, he walks everyone and then gives up a homerun. Time to move on.

    Unless he's coming back for peanuts I do not want him on the team. He has no control and not enough velocity to make up for it. Sure his changeup is pretty good, when he can put it within two feet of the plate. The bullpen has enough guys with very inconsistent control, it doesn't need another one.

    I think Gagne's still a big deal in Canada where he's from, hence the being written in French.

    He's still going to be looking for closer money. No way should he return next year.

    Are you sure on this? I thought it was different for international free agents. I can't say I'm 100% sure, but I can say that I've never seen anything suggesting that anyone's granted an exception to the arbitration and free agency procedures outlined in the CBA. Depends. Cespedes will be a free agent when his contract is up because that's what he wanted in his contract. I don't know about Aoki.

    Makes sense to me. Punk is going to say that the reason the ref blew the call was because of Punk isn't respected.

    So because of Ron, Weeks is hitting like his normal self, the bullpen doesn't suck anymore, the Pirates collapsed and the Cardinals and Dodgers played a tough schedule?

    I was 16 rows up at today's game and this was the first time I've really watch Wily pitch from any angle. I haven't seen a Brewer with his fastball and breaking ball since Ben Sheets. The Mets couldn't touch his fastball and they just looked stupid trying to hit his breaking ball. Will he be as good as Ben? I can't say for sure but he was today.

    That sounds like many "baseball fans" in Wisconsin I've interacted with. "Baseball fans" of course meaning the 90% of the population that knows there is a baseball team in Milwaukee but only between the months of March and July.

    I felt that whole article was pointing out the ridiculous reasons voters won't vote for Braun but Stark would.

    Is it just me or are staffing agencies just a huge con? I've been registered with basically every one in northeast Wisconsin for 3 years and never here from them even when I see they jobs that I am quite qualified for. I've gotten two interviews through them and neither job was anywhere close to what they described to me.
