  1. Arizona looks like a joke this inning. I don’t know why you walk Garcia to pitch to Adames with the bases loaded either.
  2. I think Mancini and Gallo are the only expensive guys there. No one wants a 2nd year of Aguilar that badly, etc.
  3. Actually it sounds like Hiura isn’t the official call up? Here’s hoping for basically any other guy out of AAA
  4. I am sad to learn in this thread that Hiura is back. I would have taken almost anyone else.
  5. Teams like Baltimore can basically never have enough prospects. They might just keep him though as a 30 year old 1B and fan favorite, a 4 year extension could be their best option given their low payroll. So yeah I think they would only consider an offer with a top 3 prospect. It doesn’t help that almost any AL contender would want him as a 1B/DH upgrade.
  6. Godley had at least a few similarities to Pomeranz, it wasn’t crazy to give him a chance to revive his career in the bullpen
  7. I feel like I know the Brewers MiLB really well so it’s really neat to find a guy like Cousins who I didn’t know about
  8. What a mess. Can't leave him in AAA forever if he's raking, can't call him up and play him, can't trade him, can't release him.
  9. We need to keep the Rays happy so they trade us more guys like Brosseau or Yandy Diaz
  10. Approving 1 substance doesn’t do anything to prevent spider tack, etc
  11. They will have some opportunities at the trade deadline to improve the offense but I kind of hope they find a way to salary dump JBJ away
  12. Was there a bigger FA bust than JBJ last off-season? Seems unlikely but I don't know.
  13. They should have done it last offseason, but when it was made so obvious to every baseball fan this year they had to do something
  14. I would like Donaldson if he’s available. I think he probably won’t be and instead will be penciled in as a 2022 piece. Maybe they would trade him to get more ABs for Arraez but it would leave their depth chart really thin and they have no other internal option that I know of (Krilloff can’t play 3B as far as I know).
  15. I was wondering if Urias is out Ben Zobrist, an above average bat with no set position but plays almost every day
  16. My big concern about the sticky baseball thing was that they would start enforcing it and our pitchers would stink and also our bottom 3 offense would also still stink. Hopefully the offense improves enough to make up for the pitching.
  17. I thought he punched a door and then went to see a life coach about it
  18. Lutz strikeout rate has trended up every year since 2017 and its gotten to the point where he won't make the majors without a pretty big adjustment
  19. That is the Adames Brewer only number but it’s nice that his overall wRC+ is up to 100 now
  20. They are all on the sticky substance crew. Boxberger is the one reliever that I’m 100% sure is doing it, although yeah they probably all are
  21. I have loved watching Urias since he was moved off every day SS
  22. I feel like the idea of guys developing at the MLB level is kind of an old myth. You have the occasional late career breakout, you can find guys that get 10-20% better year to year, but a lot of guys are kind of done improving around year 3. So I’ll give him this year but if he still stinks I’m writing him off.
