I've been saying since day one when we acquired Ruiz, the dude is an awesome prospect and is super undervalued. Elite prospect. Wasn't getting nearly enough love on this site, like at all.

Whoa. If trwi7 likes it, it must be good. I haven't seen one positive comment come from this man's keyboard, ever.

Grandal really fell off a cliff last year. Prior to that though, looking at his WAR each season, didn't realize just how valuable he's been.

One guy's name I haven't seen mentioned is Craig Kimbrel; I think he'd be a good target for us. I know he's coming off a down season for his standards, but even in a down season he still was servicable. Strikeout rate down but still good. We could really use a late-inning arm; other than Devin Williams there's not much there to feel comfortable about with our bullpen.

    Alfred, eh?
  6. RWeeksFan23
Why would Murphy cost significantly more than Jansen? They seem to be the same player, just that Murphy does admittedly have one more year of team control.
  7. RWeeksFan23
he sucked last year, especially in the second half of the season
  8. RWeeksFan23
    still a problem for me
  9. RWeeksFan23
It's pretty unprecedented how far he's fallen so quickly. It's like a real-life version of those aliens from Space Jam taking the talent of players.

It's not a big deal or anything, but I've noticed that lately any time I click to go to the next page of a thread, it always takes me to the bottom of the next page each time. Is anyone else having this same issue?
  11. RWeeksFan23
Why have these threads suddenly become a thing now out of nowhere?
  12. RWeeksFan23
I feel the exact opposite, I have no idea how anyone can rank guys like Turang or Weimer ahead of Ruiz.
  13. RWeeksFan23
How is Ruiz nowhere near a top 100 prospect? Lol Have you seen the guy's stats?
  14. RWeeksFan23
I know he's having a great season, but I was still surprised to see him get that contract. I wouldn't have associated Riley making superstar money.
  15. RWeeksFan23
Someone is going to have to explain to me how Ruiz isn't a top 100 prospect in the game. .333/.467/.560 in the minors? With 60 steals? Those are video game numbers. Like, how is this guy not like THE BEST prospect in baseball? for real

With the Giants falling further out of the playoff picture, they are said to be shopping guys like Carlos Rodon and Joc Pederson. I think Pederson could be a good option for us who wouldn't cost much as he's a rental. Good pop in his bat, can play all three OF positions. Could be a pretty good platoon CF with Tyrone Taylor, especially if he would start when we're not starting a flyball SP.

Either way there's certainly more than 43 prospects better than him, I probably wouldn't even have him in the top 100.
  18. RWeeksFan23
Not sure why Wiemer would be ranked as high as 44. He's been awful lately.
  19. RWeeksFan23
How was Rodon not an all-star to begin with? I have him in fantasy, and he's been awesome this year.
  20. RWeeksFan23
Probably a dumb question, but on this app, is there a way to DVR games or watch previous games... or just live games? I'm rarely ever able to watch games live due to work schedule
  21. RWeeksFan23
    Renfroe's homers are never cheapies.
  22. RWeeksFan23
has anyone else lost the audio?
  23. RWeeksFan23
I like this Davis fella. Shows a good eye at the plate.
  24. RWeeksFan23
Good call, I stand corrected. Doesn't seem like it would be right based off Spanish vowel pronunciations and such.
  25. RWeeksFan23
Idk why they keep calling the Reds' catcher 'air-uh-mis' Garcia, when I'm sure it's correctly pronounced 'uh-RAHM-is'
