  1. Any sprain is going to require a DL stint, and judging by him not being able to put pressure on it, I would say 15 day DL minimum.
  2. Because that is their jobs, on both ends.
  3. You have to take into account that Kenny Williams is the David Kahn of the MLB, meaning he is a tad bit heavy on the crazy.
  4. How about Rios moving to first if they are reluctant to move Hart there? At 6.4-5 he would be a good target.
  5. Green with another "Tony Plush" to Brewers management tonight.
  6. Well I guess being tied for first coming of the toughest road trip isnt that bad.
  7. phew, thought we would go a game without Casey looking lost at the plate.
  8. Morgan going to third on a passed ball that didnt get far enough away, I can live with. Casey being used in a double steal I dont get. What really bothered me was not putting Carroll into Center last night. He is probably the best OF on the team(toss up between him and Morgan) and yet you use the below average guy as a defensive replacement. Just because he can doenst mean you should in regards to Kotsay.
  9. Walking the PH with Rowand coming up, sure nothing bad can come of that...
  10. I dont want to speak for others, but the reason I dont care is because all I care about is the Brewers winning. These are grown men playing a game and getting paid for it. If it were college/high school/younger or my kid, I would care, but since they are not I dont. Now if it effects the team, then yes we would care. Until that happens, what ever motivates him to play at his best, keep on doing it. This is sports/entertainment, there is no room for morals. With that said, I have no conscience or morals, so I may not be the best person to lead this charge. It would like Amy Winehouse heading up Just Say No....to soon?
  11. Pretty much my point. I couldnt care less if Morgan was doing coke off a hookers back in the middle of a pentagram in center field along as he is still making those plays and getting hits.
  12. Ace in the hole here. If its in Space Balls, then its not offensive...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. Again what he did is not an obscene gesture. It is on par with the motion off sliding the back of your fingers on your chin(see any mob movie/show) and in fact the meaning of second it more derogatory by Italian terms.
  14. Right now I have a feeling that what is available and what it is going to cost isnt worth the minor upgrade.
  15. Whats worse, what Morgan did, which wasnt the middle finger(yes I know it was the up yours sign) or Pujols "itching his nose" towards the Cincy fans? Again, people getting worked up by this is more obscene then the gesture. If you really have a problem with it, its more of a you problem then Morgans.
  16. You really have to be hoping to see something to think he is giving the middle finger. In the last link the writer says to zoom in and you can clearly see the middle finger. He is correct, you can clearly see his middle finger, bent over over while making the "two outs" sign.
  17. RR should be fired if he plays Morgan against LHP. He has proven in his career that over the long haul, he is inept at hitting LHP. I love Morgan as much as the next guy, but this is similar to Loe facing lefties.
  18. RR has to defend his guys, that is what managers do. He cant come out and say they have been stinking up the joint. You should always take what a manager says publicly with a grain of salt.
  19. Casey wasnt brought up, he earned his way onto the roster out of ST and even then sat the bench till he forced the hand of the Brewers to play him more.
  20. Well he does have history on his side, more often then not AAA players/first time major league players are going to struggle. Now if the person he would be replacing wasnt on par with what I would consider struggling by a call up, then this argument would some water. Again, I really think they would rather get a vet in there over letting a player learn on the job. If this was last year, Casey would have been reading comics on the bus by now.
  21. I really think that if they had a compentant player at short that the move to bring up Green would have been made already. I also think they are trying to expand his game a bit(playing 2nd) in order to make him more valuable to the big league team.
  22. If someone called Doug right now and offered him two players on level with Gamel and Thornburg for Krod, first off he would look around and see if there any hidden cameras and then say yes with a tee hee and a little dance.
