  1. From 5-57 with Seattle and Toronto. Hit that one hard as well. Saw an article from when Seattle released him noting his exit velocity was bottom 11% in the league - chicken or egg, was part of the problem.
  2. A change is needed. The offense underachieved its talent last year. This year it's historically bad. Let's try a better profile than the assistant hitting coach of the most underachieving offense in baseball (who fired the primary hitting coach), and also join the 93% of other teams whose hitting coaches played professional baseball.

  5. Vogelbach's got to be worth a tender at this point. Would have something if he rediscovered the power and some exit velocity.
  6. Pretty awesome Ras! Make him a winner. Probably pitched back to back days for the first time since little league.
  7. If Lauer isn't up for Wednesday, I'll be even more troubled to be in the midst of double headers and the guy who started 52 games the past two years can't get his 83 mph fastballs located well enough to come down from Appleton.
  8. Really?!?! That’s ... not how it works. It's sometimes done but rare in day-night DHs. Those two literally just pitched like 3 hours ago.
  9. One of my favorite things missing this year from 162 game season is the Phantom IL. Most of the lineup would have come up with left second toe contusions, quad tightness, and strained right triceps by now. No luxury of sitting someone for a week, becoming a Timber Rattler for a Day, then coming back with as good a shot as any at not stinking as badly.
  10. Hey, runs. [sarcasm]I'm totally shocked it's Gyorko.[/sarcasm]
  11. Did they turn off the fake crowd noise? Not even fake fans can manage to cheer for this team now?
  12. Supak must have looked beyond terrible in Appleton if all of Freitas, Perdomo, Healy, and Topa are on the roster over him.
  13. I see my decision to go to the pool was the correct one. Now to find another activity instead of watching the second half.
  14. Should have politely declined the DH. Career average 25 points higher than the team's this year after all.
  15. Back to back 7 inning 1 hit starts. One with 11 Ks, the other 12 Ks. That's pretty good.
