  1. Himself for not trying to improve sooner? The coaching staff for not helping him? I sent Arcia a letter a few seeks into the season telling him he should start trying to improve. He sent me a response "Thanks I never thought of that!" plus an autographed bat. Guess it's working. Wow. What a dick move on your part but a great response from him.
  2. He's got a lot more to do before he should be flexing at anyone. He ran into a couple of balls a few weeks back and did nothing else. Time will tell.
  3. Braun should be playing right now. He’s been our second best bat we’ve had. Cain and Aguilar on the other hand can have a days off. Aguilar especially.
  4. I feel like just about the time we start talking about sitting guys or moving them down in the order they start hitting. So time to buy low on Cain in daily fantasy leagues I guess Agree. I love Cain. Wish we had him for an entire career. Hope he gets going and last nights game was a good sign to see.
  5. Yeah, I agree with you adambr2. It's another reason why I don't get too caught up in the what could have been type stuff with Braun. I cannot stand Puig and I enjoy Braun. I'm a happy camper with it at the end of the day.
  6. As Ronald Reagan used to say > There you go again. If you can't laugh at that, I don't know what to tell ya.
  7. Moustakas should make a nice trade piece come to the deadline as we have no chance to compete with the Dodgers this season anyways.
  8. Bellinger would probably be out of baseball living on the streets with a drug problem if they had traded him to us. At least I think that's how the butterfly effect works...
  9. I've never really wanted us to target MadBum because I think he's spent. So many long seasons due to his incredible postseasons have me very wary of having him. Take away his massive ballpark and the numbers might be pretty scary too.
  10. You trying to lecture someone on what an opinion is... Thames and his OPS would be right around the middle of the pack in terms of production at that production. Aguilar has absolutely stunk. If he continues, the simple fix is to simply not play him and release him. If we need help vs. LHP... Grandal can play there. Braun can play there. Moose can play there. Shaw can play there. Heck guys like Perez and Nottingham can play there. All options without giving up prospects or money as there just are not that many LHP's that we face.
  11. Again, that’s your opinion, and that’s fine. But mine like the aforementioned take is more contact, less Ks, just as much or more power, will help the lineup. Wouldn’t you like to see runners moved over, even just a little more? An occasional sacrifice fly with a runner on 3rd less than 2 out? If 5 mil is too much to spend to have this better hitter in the lineup for the next 4+ mo. Then wait till closer to the deadline and it’ll cost 2.7 mil I'd like to see Mike Trout in CF instead of Cain but that is a want, not a need. I also don't post that I want Mike Trout in every single thread. See the difference yet?
  12. I like switch hitters a lot. When it makes sense. Eric Thames is doing just fine this season. Making a trade, just to make a trade, isn't something the Brewers do. You are overblowing a need right now to fit another one of your agendas. This is a want. Know the difference. But overall, you just... don't... get... it.
  13. I’ll still keep Braun.
  14. Bump. Yay you. Well, thanks. But I really wasn’t patting myself on the back. Seeing Bell’s stat line just reminded me of this. No need to be a grouchy old man all the time...
  15. Like the guy, but he shouldn't be coming back unless he is ready and finding his stroke. Nothing about his minor league numbers so far shows that he is ready. Think of it like spring training. They’re meaningless. They must feel he’s ready. I’ll trust that.
  16. I’m glad Travis is on his way back. Big part of the team. He will get it going.
  17. Why would anyone give up anything? They’ll just wait for the DFA to happen.
