Ish. Will be easy to flip on the Blues game instead tonight.
  2. pacopete4
Can the phrase professional hitter get retired?
  3. pacopete4
Braun’s May Line: .403/.474/.642/1.115 in 76 plate appearances

You're right. I never, ever understood the hate he got here. He's a fun, exciting player who is playing a game for a living. God forbid yu show excitement and flare while you're doing it. Brewers fans couldn’t get enough of the .500 OPS laughing hyena minor leaguer Phillips though.
  5. pacopete4
Why would a rebuilding Toronto want Thames?
  6. pacopete4
Feels like a mistake for them to extend him.
  7. pacopete4
And you’d be on the hook for about $8M.

[sarcasm]Maybe Phillips should stop goofing around, laughing all the time and get serious about baseball.[/sarcasm] -Arcia [sarcasm]haterz[/sarcasm]

Doubtful that it would cost a ton. He’s been good but not great for about two years. He’s an upgrade to Aguilar for sure though.
  10. pacopete4
Revisiting this again: Phillips stinks. Lopez stinks. Moustakas still playing well for us. We win again!
  11. pacopete4
I wonder when they’ll start to think about dropping Cain. OBP is his game and so far it’s not there yet. Arcia has a higher OBP right now. Gamel could start seeing more starts in CF if it continues. Edit: Time to flip Arcia and Cain in the order? Cain looks old this year. Soft contact and not working walks.

Weather not looking great for this one.

Hiura is one of the top prospects in the world and had an .800+ OPS like two days ago. This wasn’t a shot at Keston. I’m a big fan and believe he will be a great hitter eventually. Perez with defense and base running could bring stability to that position that he may not be ready for yet. In a post season run that may be something we need.
  14. pacopete4
Extend Braun while they’re at it. He’s back!
  15. pacopete4
Would this team be better with just having Perez play 2B? *Ducks...
  16. pacopete4
Oh man those playoff Phillies are so awesome. It’s a shame we only beat them 4 out of 7 games. Man, we really stink.

This thread is about the heartbreak that Wisconsin sports fans have endured this century in coming up short numerous times in having a team that took that next step from great to championship caliber. It isn't saying they've just all sucked. If you think the discussion is ridiculous, no one forced you to participate in it. One can have a differing opinion. This thread comes off poor. Only one teams fan base ends up happy at the end of the season.
  18. pacopete4
Boy, this thread is pretty ridiculous. Wisconsin has been spoiled lately.
  19. pacopete4
Not that rare. Stearns muffed this one in back to back seasons. How quickly we forget Boone Logan. Can't believe the excuses being made for him. Last year Stearns cut his losses and let Logan go midseason. Hopefully Stearns won't wait until June 24th again. Are you advocating that he cut a useful pitcher?

Did the Bucks make(shoot) a 3 in the 4th quarter?
  21. pacopete4
Kind of a sad ending to a pretty cool season. Hard to watch the meltdown.
  22. pacopete4
I’m not even made at Claudio. It’s not his fault he’s forced to face RH batters. Stupid use.
  23. pacopete4
I’m not a huge fan of the manager putting on a show but if there was ever an appropriate time for CC to do that, it was then.
  24. pacopete4
Most of the players are in the clubhouse as the are batting.

Dugout looks as quiet as I’ve seen in awhile. Lifeless is a good way to describe them today. I hate weeks when they have multiple off days.
