  1. I don't know why but I like it.
  2. He wasn't terrible tonight. Single-handedly responsible for the win. He and Pritzl. It’s about time these guys came through.
  3. That BrettBuck dude on twitter says Dallas would like to come to MKE but financials don’t add up.
  4. I'm just going to go ahead and give him credit for the Grandal signing too, since they are both University of Miami alumni Can’t speak to that but wouldn’t doubt it. Ryan Braun helped keep lines of communication open between Brewers, Mike Moustakas
  5. Sounds like Braun played a role in getting Moustaskas back. MVP!
  6. Per Ken R. “Moustakas rejected #Royals’ $17.4M qualifying offer in Nov. 2017. Earned $8.7M total in ‘18 - $6.5M guarantee, $2.2M in incentives. His one-year deal with #Brewers for reported $10M, per @BNightengale, will push two-year total to $18.7M before incentives - just above one-year QO.” Thought this was interesting.
  7. Brewers OPS’d nearly the same against RHP and LHP in 2018 as well. I think some of this gets overblown.
  8. Yeah I don’t quite get it either. Deepest team we’ve had in a long while. People were frustrated with the OF “jam” of 2018 too. It’s great to have all these options.
  9. It’ll be interesting if Aguilar stinks this season if that changes.
  10. It’s the day we live in now. There just aren’t that many hitters that hit for high averages. There were under 100 players had averages of .251 or higher a year ago, Moustakas being one of them (and Shaw is a career .255 hitter). There’s 30 teams. Just a little over 3 batters on a team if it were spread out evenly.
  11. Yost would like you to kiss his ring. bah....they won that world series in spite of Ned Yost, not because of him. What a joke of a manager he was with Milwaukee. I was sooooooooo happy when they finally cut him loose. KC is arguably one of the worst teams to ever win a WS. And they happened to make it to the series back to back years. Sometimes even if you dislike something or someone you just tip the cap.
  12. Yost would like you to kiss his ring.
  13. Obviously that's going to be the case - as I've said for months. There's always breaks in the calendar (usually first part) where you can bullpen a game, etc and still keep everyone rested. Counsell wasn't stating we're going with 5 rotation arms and nobody else will start and everyone is throwing 100 pitches. He was clearly starting we're going with a rotation and we need that rotation to get as many outs as possible. So when that happens 90% of the time that's pretty black and white. So you're agreeing that there is some grey area? Sounds good. We are on the same page.
  14. Doubling down. I like it. I think you'll end up on the wrong side of this for the most part, but I like it. You "think" he'll end up on the wrong side "for the most part"? Counsell literally just said he's 100% wrong and not even close Eh, don't be so black and white. There could very well be parts to the season where we see a more tandem approach to things. Possibly when we have multiple off days in a week and such.
  15. Doubling down. I like it. I think you'll end up on the wrong side of this for the most part, but I like it.
  16. Nobody's stopping you, go for it! I thought I was by referring to it as an awesome new facility. It looks fantastic. [sarcasm]Maybe if it was Miller Park of Phoenix.[/sarcasm]
  17. This is where I am at with it as well.
  18. Now we all feel like real jerks, don’t we? Why not release this info to begin with? Why take the backlash first and then release this?
  19. What a meltdown...
  20. GM of the year type of a move. If Lawrie contributes to us winning again, just another feather in the cap for Stearns to go down this road. Hopefully, it'll pan out for us, only time will tell.
  21. Thank you for sharing that. Man I am excited.
  22. Another headline some will yell “snowflakes” even though it doesn’t affect a thing for them rather than just being sensitive to those that deal with disabilities on a daily occurrence.
