  1. He’s does lean out over it a bit though. He did have some words with Pirates players as they were coming off the field last inning. Not close enough to tell what was said.
  2. A bunch of luck finding empty space though, nothing had hit. Not that I really care how a backup catcher gets it done though. Tonight maybe but I’ve been to a ton of games the past month and he’s striking it well right now. Using the whole field.
  3. They’ve had 6 hits in the past 5 innings. I wouldn’t say they’re “mailing” it in by any means.
  4. Sure, it would suck if we lose, but it would also be our 3rd playoff appearance in 35 years. If you can't get excited about that, what is there to get excited about as a Brewer fan? This was my point. And who cares how you got there. I’d love nothing more than a chance to break the hearts of our division rivals. Can’t be afraid to lose.
  5. I want the Cards in round 1. I want the Cubs in round 2. Then whoever and then I’ll take knocking off the Astros to win the whole damn thing.
  6. Despite going from 18 over to struggling in every game. Part of the reason my playoff fever has diminished is cause we may have to play Saint Louis and/or Chicago first two rounds. Nothing about that is exciting. I find it extremely exciting. I hope we get that opportunity.
  7. Pesky Pittsburgh lineup tonight. Miley making some pitches and not being rewarded. Also, weird crowd in here tonight. Doesn’t have the feeling of a Brewers team in the mix for a playoff spot and lots of empty seats on a Friday night.
  8. Saw a line for Arcia since he’s been back and his BA was like .280 Hopefully that can continue as that’s all he needs to do, ever.
  9. It's better than him sucking at the MLB level.
  10. Comparing the Schoop deal to Harvey’s situation is about as apples to oranges as it gets.
  11. Lol at the Reds. What purpose is there to hold onto him? Not that I was excited to get him but they’re dumb. Really dumb.
  12. According to Stearns he has no innings limit.
  13. Broxton having a higher WAR than those guys tells you all about that stat.
  14. Would you... Broxton to Reds for Billy Hamilton & Harvey?
  15. This is seemingly out of left field, but ok. Maybe he thinks Wily is still on the team?
  16. This isn’t good. It’s fine that we sent him down because he’s not producing but in the grand scheme of the season, it isn’t good.
  17. Better communication can go a long ways. And that’s on all of us.
  18. One start. Two starts. Three starts. In the end we know what Davies can do when healthy. There’s almost 70 starts as a major league pitcher to show you it. He’s not a stud. But when he’s healthy, he can be Chacin’esque and that would be just dandy right now.
  19. Honest question, who the flip is Thompson? Jake Thompson. He probably isn’t too serious of a candidate but he has a high ceiling and was a 2nd round pick and is 25 I believe.
  20. It’s sadder than more attention is on Meyer than his POS assistant coach.
