  1. He’s back. It just hasn’t happened yet.
  2. .270/.330/.440/.769 slash line against RHP for his career.
  3. Seeing Superior in the D2 State Championship game will never not be weird to me. I grew up and played for Superior and was a part of a championship team (and runner-up). With all the great tradition of hockey there, the breakdown of having them in D2 just never will add up to me. My HS team's season was ended by Fondy Spring and their 1st line was incredible. Their top 3 defensemen are also as good as any in the state. A weird D2 matchup to say the least about it. It should not be based on enrollment. There should be a panel and you are placed in each division based on a few criteria.
  4. Yeah, as talented of a player he seems to be, the Brewers just cannot sink this type of money into a player that has the chance to hardly pitch for them. It just doesn't add up.
  5. I wouldn’t give him a round of applause because I think he’s the greatest human alive, although he’s done a 180 in his personal life it seems. I would stand and clap because he’s given the Brewers countless memories of great baseball moments. On top of that, a person making a mistake and coming out the other side of it a better human is a great thing. Braun seems to have done that with his family and definitely all his efforts in both communities he’s a part of. So yeah, a fan send off and a few more clutch moments would be a great way to have Braun go out.
  6. I’m sure there will be protocols that don’t really make any sense or have much backing behind it. That’s the world we currently live in at just about ever turn.
  7. Get that damn DH already and let’s play ball!
  8. I think Darnold could be a good QB. Wentz, I think stinks. I am bummed as well. I hope they at least give up a king's ransom for whatever they end up doing.
  9. Jeffress with a solid GB% rate. Maybe a reunion makes sense there. If you're playing good defense on the infield as we should, use it to your advantage.
  10. It's almost like the Brewers smell blood in the water!
  11. With the amount of money they've had come in over the years, I would have thought a salary cap freeze would be in order. Not go backward.
  12. The cap going down is a joke to me anyways. I get COVID but the NFL is still raking in the money.
  13. Happy for Mr. Tatis. Sad for Brewers fans that will now use this to show how cheap and lousy of an owner they think we have.
  14. If he does a money grab, I don't want to see any more iPhone videos sobbing and whining.
  15. I would be interested in seeing how many teams have their best hitters in the 2-hole vs. 3-hole or leading off.
  16. I mean 1/4th of the lineup didn't play for us last year (Wong & Cain) and have been pretty good hitters with higher OBP's over the course of their careers. But yes, same scrubs...
  17. What a dream world Watt could be living as if he wasn't already. He grew up a Badger and Packers fan and has the opportunity to play large roles for both organizations. What a cool thing this could be if they can work it out.
  18. This team could use Braun and the universal DH and all of a sudden, their lineup looks okay. It at least shuffles a few down a peg in the lineup. vs. RHP 1. Wong- 2B 2. Yelich- LF 3. Hiura- 1B 4. Vogelbach/Braun- DH 5. Shaw- 3B 6. Narvaez- C 7. Garcia- RF 8. Urias/Arcia- SS 9. Cain- CF vs. LHP 1. Cain- CF 2. Yelich- LF 3. Hiura- 1B 4. Braun- DH 5. Garcia- RF 6. Urias- 3B 7. Wong- 2B 8. Pina/Nottingham- C 9. Arcia- SS And this doesn't take into consideration Green, Robertson, Fisher and co.
  19. It's weird that anyone would put the AAAA title near Urias, a top prospect that battled a wrist injury, and Covid a season ago, that is turning 24 years old. It's just an odd way to look at him going into this season. That doesn't mean I think he will light the world on fire offensively, it just is odd to have any sort of judgment on him.
  20. My take: Vs RHP 1. Wong - Good signing 2. Yelich - is he back? 3. Hiura - K's a lot 4. Shaw - Scary thought here in the 4-hole 5. Garcia - Same here 6. Narvaez - And here 7. Cain - And here 8. Urias/Arcia - And here Vs LHP 1. Cain - Good vs. LH 2. Yelich - Has to be counted on 3. Hiura - Reverse splits? 4. Garcia - Has to produce something 5. Urias - Smashed LH, maybe move up if Cain flops 6. Pina - Has to play against something 7. Wong - BA is there, power zapped against LH 8. Arcia - Good times...
  21. Results matter. Houser doesn't get the job done as a starter. And it is more annoying when we have seen how elite he is as a reliever.
  22. I won't believe Cain is a top 2 in the order guy until I see it. I really hope he can just hold his own down in the 7-8 spot, possibly 9 if we get the DH.
  23. I don't know about that. They might have an idea but without seeing him play at game speed in the NFL, you just cannot make too many assumptions on any player.
  24. Houser was very good as a reliever in 2019. As a starter, he was much like he was last year and has always been as a starter, which isn't very good. It would be such a great thing for some of these other guys to bump him back to the pen where he belongs.
