  1. Is he going by Jon now instead of Jonathan?
  2. I agree. If the goal is to have an undisciplined and stupid team. Hilarious.
  3. Rock: He's probably mad at himself for going. (meaning Gomez). Actually, no, he's not mad at himself for going. He's mad for getting caught. He's an idiot and will remain an idiot always.
  4. Robin just needs some glasses and a bass and keyboards. http://i1246.photobucket.com/albums/gg616/Fhandl7/ASO/Untitled_zpsawp9htyb.jpg
  5. When did Robin Yount start looking like Geddy Lee?
  6. I'm not buying a ticket to watch the Brewers until Doug Melvin is gone.
  7. He makes it unwatchable.
  8. Wang sucks. Should never have been on the roster in 2014. I hope someone picks him off waivers so this club can be free of his suckitude.
  9. These are my thoughts exactly.
  10. Does it really matter? Its not like they would have turned it around and be a .500 team right now if they had kept RR. Part of the nature of the business. You can't just continue with a disaster without holding people accountable. I'm not a fan of making moves because "something needs to be done." Like a few years ago when they fired the bullpen coach because the relief corps sucked. That's bush league and it's a sign of a poorly run organization. I don't think RR was the problem. And if people need to be held accountable, when is Doug Melvin going to held accountable?
  11. 25 games have now been managed by RR and CC this year. The records: RR: 7-18 CC: 9-16 I sure am glad they made the switch. Where would they be without Counsell?
  12. He learned that move from RRR, who often did the same exact stupid stuff... Sometimes a "planned" day of rest is that the player has tweaked something and needs to sit and neither the team nor the player want to acknowledge it or discuss it. I never get upset over the non-use of players because there's almost always information they know that we don't.
  13. I guess it wasn't pine tar, but rosin + vaseline? It was bullfrog sunscreen and rosin. This rule needs to be changed now. Come up with a universal substance that all pitchers can use and end this charade. I find it ridiculous that we know most pitchers use something to get a better grip on the ball (usually Bullfrog and rosin), and yet we act shocked when someone gets caught because they weren't "discreet" enough. For those not familiar, here's an article from Jeff Passan about Bullfrog and rosin from when this was a big deal two years ago with Clay Buchholz. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/it-s-always-sunny--sources-say-sunscreen-trick-is-pitchers--latest-way-to-gain-an-edge-173953962.html
  14. Who gives a crap? When did Craig Counsell become some hot managing prospect? He's never done anything before to suggest he'd be a really good manager.
  15. Can we hold off on calling the Cubs and Astros models for a franchise until they have actually won something? Until they actually make the World Series, they have done nothing the Brewers haven't done, just with lower attendance. Is there a sane person in the world who wouldn't trade the Brewers organization for the Cubs organization right now?
  16. Is Doug going to fire himself? He should if he's interested in the Brewers winning a World Series (or at least playing in one). At this point Doug Melvin is what he is. I'd rather the team look for the next Andrew Friedman or Theo Epstein.
  17. Counsell should be fired. No winning streaks since he's been hired. Team was flat and got steamrolled. No bro hugs from the manager tonight...
  18. It's truly remarkable that Doug Melvin doesn't see himself as part of the problem. Clueless.
  19. I'm 44. I know bad baseball. Doug Melvin is not the worst GM the Brewers could have but I've seen too many clubs build winners with less payroll than the Brewers to sit still and watch this guy continue to run the show. The game has passed him by
  20. Has anyone asked Doug Melvin what makes him think Craig Counsell will be any better than the last 4 managers he's hired? Doug Melvin needs to take a good look in the mirror. And then fire himself.
  21. I hope the Brewers lose every game remaining so both Doug Melvin and Craig Counsell get fired. What a joke. If they let Doug Melvin run the rebuild I'm done as a Brewer fan.
  22. Taking the "L" is easy. I'm from small town Wisconsin and I've never had a problem with it when visiting Chicago. http://www.transitchicago.com/riding_cta/how_to_guides/ridingthetrain.aspx
