That was pretty putrid. And pretty amazing, at the same time. Hader needs a rest. Hader also needs a serious mental break. He's had "nothing" on any of his pitches for over a week now. Ugh. Luckily, I'm on Pacific time, so this was just a "late night" for me right before bed. But still . . . -
I like to look at it this way: at least Christian is playing ball most days and still able to help the team try to win, albeit in a different capacity than 2018-2019. I mean, he could totally be Anthony Rendon. Ouch!

Reading this news, it does make you wonder how this issue wasn’t discovered by the Brewers. Who knows, maybe they suggested a eye exam and he refused. It just seems to me that a vision exam (not just a test but a full-on examination) would be just as important as a physical exam when signing a player or trading for one.

My wife and I are AT THE GAME tonight and tomorrow!!!! It’s been five years since we’ve been able to attend a game in Milwaukee! Sausages are grilling’ and beer is flowing’! Go Brewers!!!

Sveum touched on it a bit, but I wonder how things would have played out had Cain not sat out for 2020. He would have reached the 10-year pension mark much earlier this season, so I wonder what the length of leash it would have been in that case. Would they have DFA’d him in May? Or late April? Just thought it was interesting. Good luck to Lo in the future, whatever that may bring! I enjoyed watching him play for the Brewers, both in 2010 and on his 5-year contract. -
I have noticed this, too. i seem to recall that this was mentioned another time and someone said that it was impossible. Well, I’m at least the second person that has noticed this. (iPhone 11, using IOS 15.5). I started writing this post at 9:43 with 70% battery power. It’s now 9:47 and it’s down to 63%. No background apps running. Now maybe my battery is just old and I need an upgrade, but it is possible.

My wife and I finished up season 4 volume 1 last night. Without getting spoilery . . . i DID see that one coming! I think this might be their best season since the inaugural. I think pretty much each episode--especially the finale--was well done and I didn't want it to end. I guess we can wait a few weeks for the grand finale episodes.

I still think that some of Wong's early season issues could be attributed to a small child at home. I don't know if that affects all baseball playing dads, though, so it's only a theory, and one that I can't quantify with any true evidence.

My wife and I also enjoyed Forest Park, particularly the zoo (which was free when we were there several years ago.) She's big into animals so it was a natural to go there and waste some time during the (hot) day.

Just as Henry Rowengartner was lights out until he fell on his shoulder, ending his magical run of dominance, is there any correlation between Devin Williams and his broken hand from last year creating a change that has eliminated his run of dominance? To me, it appears that his change up has lost its magic. It no longer airbends with any consistency. It actually seems to hang in the zone more often. His fastball, on the other hand, still has good velocity but seems to be very straight and hittable. Now, it may seem that I’m just reacting to tonight’s subpar performance, but I’ve actually been thinking about this for about two weeks. I’m concerned.

I always liked Brady Clark. He was the epitome of an underachiever that "made it." I wished him success and he had some, which is all anyone really wants when they aspire to be a big leaguer. As a result, he has become a bit of a cult hero to some, and a player that is definitely not forgotten to others. -

This run on is WR crazy, to be sure. But it seems like no surprise to me, what with the success of kids like Ja’Maar Chase going bananas last year. Everybody is looking to hit it big (in Vegas, no less!) on the next big thing at receiver. I hope the Pack gets two of the best players they can tonight. At this point, I’m not sure what that means. Defense?
