  1. Cooper Dejean was always going to drop. You don't see white DBs this day. And now all 5 cbs earlier reside in top 10 Best Available.
  2. I'd rather hold the picks coming up to move up there vs less than 5 here that was stacked with the position you drafted moving up. 41 will be a good player picked.
  3. ESPN best available has 5 CBs in top 13. If CB is the target, no reason to trade up for 1. They'll fall in to the lap.
  4. Yelich left his game 10games ago. Yeli/Contreras were dynamic together. Plus Turang/Chourio turnover the order.
  5. The low run scoring immediately started when Yelich left that game. He needs to return to the lineup.
  6. When I've watched Mitchell hit predraft in to MLB- he gives the feel to a Kyle Tucker to me. It's been said he has the power to hit more HRs, he just (like Yelich) launch angle too low. Wiemer was to be a solve as a RHB. If Perkins is even or beating Wiemer vs LHPs give it a go. Just don't settle on the 1yr rental when doing so.
  7. That blue brings the Royals to my mind. They own it imo. Let the Phillies have it to. I like the Phillies blue jersey with maroon or whatever the color is.
  8. Well yeah permanently. Take his pop times. He doesn't return to what he was doing before the injury, that's a Permanent downfall in his skills.
  9. This is something I wanted to chime in. How will Wilken react to balls thrown high and inside? His swing timing may be off due to hesitation. Look at the drop Yelich experienced 2020-2021. We may have just lost the next top 2 position players from the teams minors permanently in a span of 2? 3 days?
  10. Prince Fielder? Oh wait active I get it now. Yelich?
  11. This may be worse news as an organization than Woodruff's. Developmental time lost on top of injury effects.
  12. Jackson Holiday called up from AAA exact day Baltimore gains 1year of Service. Why pretend it's a call up because the other players weren't playing well and just say we gained another year of Jackson with our move.
  13. Solar eclipse is tomorrow. People are traveling for it.
  14. SP WAR is super cringy imo due to the WAR easily gained/lost by RP. There's just some figure with SPs that should increase their values earned. I like Fip regarding pitchers usually. Fip gets hit hard on HR rate tied in to Ks and Whip. You can figure out who stands to be volatile. I wouldn't discount WAR that Freddy has vs Ross comes to rounding up or down. Freddy having .242 WAR let's say and Ross having .186 WAR. Gets rounded both to .2 yeah that has to be it. You don't see WAR to the hundredths.
  15. They had better take their time with Quero recovering from this. If that labrum surgery improves his performance prognosis, just go on and get that done. He's 21 long career ahead of him.
  16. If Quero continues with IL stints, you might consider it. The more times he injures himself, the more likely his production wanes. Extend WC and assume he'll continue being healthy and productive. I like the 6/90-110 range. But you all know Quero is a hype prospect for me. That young man needs to get his health game in order.
  17. That is actually a worse outlook for this season on pitching. 2016: .27Fip 2017: .24 2018: .28 2019: .06 2021: .22 2022: .09 2023: .48 2 tenths larger spread the 2nd largest season. I've also try keeping in mind the Counsell effect handling the bullpen/pitching. Will Murphy have that effect? Everyone's roles are different starting out this season vs last season until Williams returns.
  18. This will get changed when the right team signs a prospect before ML debut. Let's guess Houston or Dodgers. Chourio could win MVP and Brewers get nothing for it now.
  19. Checking it was all but Uribe of the back half of bullpen last season who had higher Fip than ERAs. It's volatile filled with luck(like defense) unless they plan to pitch that well.
  20. Burnes is winning the Cy Young. Last season was a fluke with Contreras
  21. I think I mention up to 8games one of the times I used 8. Depends some on the teams who flip that win loss. Division teams that flip is 2 games in the standings. 4 times vs division teams you can say is 6 games right there(Williams probably has 1 during the time gone) Scheduling has 21 games out of first 44 vs division teams. There won't be the #1/2 closer in the game. This team will be overusing its bullpen early in this season with the starters probably having hard time beyond 5 complete during this stretch. I just have an early season pitching struggle with this franchise attitude. Checking Williams last season. He blew 4 games overall-1 bs Cubs so on the season I consider is 5 games. Blown save 1 happened game 67. He carried a 90pct save rate. The rest of Brewers bullpen carried 65pct.
  22. With the Mitchell injury and Williams injury. It's dramatic loss with Williams. Without a solid start to this season, meaning finding a consistent closer. That has potential -8game swing using someone else. Now what does FO do? They aren't buying at deadline. Reason to sell Williams return. You are about to lose more 9th inning games. No Burnes. Has Miley injured himself already? I'm going at 77-85. Williams is the MVP for late inning with Hader being close. I've softened on Uribe because pitching 9th innings was not supposed to be needed right now. Now he can be called upon and yeah 8 games Williams being injured imo cost. The W/L is so variable depending on trade deadline direction. They buy its over 80 easy. But this start to the injuries has below 80 easy due to selling.
  23. In BP? So on the swing? Or did the BP pitcher straight bean Mitchell causing a fracture? Of course the OF jam solves itself. Frelick to the open OF spot this creates. Brown at 3b now? Monasterio? It's whatever. Wilken will solve 3b before the season ends.
  24. How healthy did Williams ever show himself? Does this maybe reflect the contract he signed? Modest at 2 years?
  25. What team ,(Brewers past) didn't lose a pitcher the days before setting the season? Brewers pitchers should be top 8. The money teams took them all What are Dodgers ranked? 1 and 5? Now go ahead and tear apart team 2(of 5] of the Dodgers starters. How about argue for those 5 while trashing the current 5 believed to be this future rotation. I enter every season with can the pitching do its job this year? Stay healthy? And then give no cares as injuries pile up or we're healthy. That's what the deadline is for. One we have used with Chacin, and Miley. The dozen+ bullpen acquire. Nothing is set until after the deadline.
