  1. I can easily see Boxberger making the OD roster... Black can be DFA'd... Feyereisen, Rasmussen can be optioned to minors.
  2. Stearns already said he's coming back for 2021. I haven't heard anything about players being able to opt out in 2021.
  3. I like Boxberger, Williams, Hader! That could be a nice 7-8-9 combo.
  4. In the 3 hole so he'll have 2 good OBP guys in front of him, I would rather have a 3-0 game vs a 2-0 game. That's fine, and there is analytical debate about if your best hitter should be in the 2 or 3 hole, but it seems clear Counsell will bat Yelich 2nd considering that's what he's done a far majority of the time since we've had Yelich Hmmm I guess we'll see. Not sure how I feel about moving Wong or Cain to RBI spots of the lineup... I would rather have them 1-2 so they can get on base for Yelich, Hiura, Narvaez, Garica to drive them in.
  5. In the 3 hole so he'll have 2 good OBP guys in front of him, I would rather have a 3-0 game vs a 2-0 game.
  6. I would be totally fine with Gyorko and Walker or bringing Jake back home. Gyorko becomes our everyday 3B. Wong Cain Yelich Hiura Narvaez Gyorko Garcia Urias Woodruff Burnes Walker or Odorizzi Houser Lindblom Yea that team definitely competes for the Central.
  7. I dont see Keston in the 2 hole, he’ll be our cleanup hitter. I see it as Wong, Cain, Yelich, Hiura, Narvaez, Garcia Narvaez and Garcia rebound to the hitters they are, thats a good top 6.
  8. Yea we missed out on a bunch, Marwin, Asdrubal, Miller. Only ones left are Lamb and Shaw.
  9. Idk they’ve missed out on plenty of good LHH 3B. Just feels like they arent making any more moves.
  10. You have inside info? I bet its gonna Urias as our 3B, such a shame.
  11. I just gave this terrible feeling the 3B we have now is what we’ll be going into ST with. Sure hope Im wrong.
  12. But why would we do RHH/RHH platoon... Both DRob and Urias crush lefties, should be Robertson at 3rd and Urias at SS (He should be our everyday SS). Need to find a lefty bat, give me Lamb and call it good... Lamb and Robertson would be a good platoon. Otherwise trade for Kyle Seager. Or just give Gyorko the everyday 3B job.
  13. I guess we offered Turner $34 mil for 2 years. He was never coming here...
  14. Fiers and Cabrera are already gone. My god Urias does nothing for me at 3B, dude is a SS.
  15. Mets did talk to A’s on Chapman.
  16. Rays added Hill and McHugh, I would gladly have taken either.
  17. Damnit!!!
  18. Agreed, if were signing a 3B he’s gonna be LHH... Lamb or Cabrera is who I want. Lamb and DRob could be a productive platoon.
  19. I just don't understand what happened to Shaw, he was damn good for us in 17 and 18... Then just sucks, which sucks for us because here we are STILL looking for a good 3B. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Binelas fall to us in June!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldnt that be something, us drafting the local kid in the 1st round!
  20. Of course.... Turner will be a Dodger again come Wednesday.
  21. If Franco is truly the hitter he was in 2018 and 2020, I would rather sign him to a 2-3 year deal... Dude is still just 28.
  22. I would love Candelario, switch hitter, plays 3B and 1B... Yes please, cant imagine it would cost too much to get him.
  23. Not if Urias fulfills his potential as a solid MLB hitter. He was a top 25 MLB prospect for a reason, and it wasn't his defense. Sorry, I should have been more clear... Power hitting. I like power! Haha
  24. What is with all this shuffling from them???? Watch them just DFA Vesia when announcing Turner signing. Can I make the suggestion again that you try to avoid becoming emotionally attached to Turner? While there are still some tea leaves that point the Brewers way, the chance of it happening is probably still very slim. Right now I'm at the point where if they surprise me and sign him, great. Cool! If not ... it was extremely unlikely to happen anyway. Just don't want to see you hurt when the inevitable happens, man. Haha, yea I'm gonna just get it out of my mind on Turner being here... Thank you!
  25. Yeah I agree, especially if we can sign Turner. Then we should be set. Just roll with Hader at this point and try to win the division. I don't think they would have handed Wong $18 million unless they were making a strong investment in improved run prevention. Having a knock-out bullpen is obviously part of that. Turner would be a strong sign in that department as well as his defense rates out very well there. But if they don't end up signing him, I would suspect it means that Urias would be the primary starter at 3B, and while that infield of Hiura/Wong/Arcia/Urais isn't going to knock you over with offensive upside, is should be outstanding defensively, assuming Hiura takes well to 1B. My god please dont be true.... We're gonna have the weakest hitting infield in the league.
