Hope this isnt true but dude on Twitter said Turner to Braves for 3 yrs, $33 mil. If they get him for that, I’ll be super pissed.

There are years where I can get behind a mini rebuild, but this year’s team is projected to have maybe the best pitching staff they’ve had in a decade. When you take both starters and bullpen into consideration, this could be a top 5 collection of pitchers in baseball. They need to find a couple of quality bats and make a run at this thing, in my opinion. At this point a trade or two is probably their best bet. Until Turner is gone there's hope. I'm sure most would feel fairly set by his signing. Turner isnt coming here, Dodgers missed out on Nolan they’ll just resign Turner now.

This is so disappointing, what a joke of an offseason... Cards get Nolan for nothing and we’re just sitting here signing minor league depth players. Christ just trade Hader, Yelich, Hiura, Woodruff and Burnes.

So Rosario at 1B and Gyorko at 3B? Can't imagine that if we sign Rosario we would sign Turner as well. Cain Yelich Hiura Rosario Gyorko Garcia Narvaez Urias/Arcia I don't hate it, just don't know what to think.

I get your viewpoint and it's not invalid, but I'll take him for the price point and hopefully add a couple less-strikeout-y guys around him. Haha love it, yes he does get on base.

For me its the low average and strikeouts, we have plenty others that do that already... Don't need another one of those in the lineup.

The biggest issue with Cron is you can't afford to have two dudes that can only play 1B, especially if there isn't a DH. If you sign Cron then you probably need to say goodbye to Vogelbach. Fine with me, release Vogelbach, his contract isnt guaranteed anyway.

I would rather sign C.J. Cron... Replaces Rosario's power and ACTUALLY plays 1B.

Come on, man, how long have you been a Brewer fan? Making moves like that is 100% in their playbook. That doesn't mean it's a good idea, how many times has it worked out for us? I mean really worked out? It's in our playbook because we are always desperate for a 1B. Why do we not address that position in the draft? Exactly, thank you!

Then the right side of our infield is TERRIBLE. I like Rosario, just nervous about putting him at a position he's never played before... I mean they thought Braun could do it and look how that turned out. Not that this matters but a 6'1 180 lb 1B, can't say I've ever seen someone that light be a regular 1Bman.

I would like to believe this, but I highly doubt it... Turner will re-sign to go after another ring, we'll fill 3B with small deal, maybe... Man this sucks, I wish we had money.
