    You don’t know how a walk to Adames would have affected how the pitcher would have worked to Frelick and what would have happened after that. This is unfolding as a game where it’s going to take a lot of runs to win so squandering an opportunity hurts.

    I have no problem swinging 3-0, but the hitter has to be smart enough to pick out a hittable pitch in a certain spot, not just hack away at whatever crap the pitcher throws.

    Didn’t get the split I was hoping for in the Cubs-Reds series. Maybe the Braves can cool off the Cubs for a couple of days.
