  1. Hard to maintain a fan board dedicated to only being indifferent to the randomness of baseball 🤷‍♂️🙂
  2. Brewers have had very little to play for in September. It can be said Milwaukee achieved the minimum it needed to this month. Many opponents had a lot to play for.
  3. Sundays are Pocket Pancake Sundays at the ballpark, available at the first base and third base wards. Have you heard about Pocket Pancakes ™ ? 🙂
  4. Horton missing wild card round is huge. Boyd and Imanaga have struggled in the second half.
  5. Ashby as game three opener in NLDS? Followed by Patrick? Seems like six good innings to me 🤷‍♂️
  6. Truthfully, there probably is not an objective relationship between end of season vibes and NLDS success. It would seem better if the bats showed some life, though.
  7. Peralta and Priester seem fine. Ashby, Hall, Myers, Patrick, Henderson and Miz could all get nine outs. Uribe and Koenig seem as good as ever. Can the offense flip a switch? I am optimistic. It must be an ounce difficult to ‘play to win’ without having having Sal Frelick run into a wall on Game 160 like last year.
  8. Yes, I genuinely think this team’s identity is underdog. They will be perceived as underdogs again during the NLDS, no matter who they face.
  9. 2018 we were rolling with Gio Gonzalez, Woodruff (rookie),, Chacin, Miley, Peralta (rookie), Burnes (rookie). Brewers had the lead or were tied late in all seven games in the NLCS.
  10. Aaron Judge does it in New York which is worth bonus points, perhaps legitimately?
  11. I’m excited for the Brewers to recapture their underdog mentality in the playoffs. While the team has continued to perform at high levels, it is difficult to consider yourself an underdog when you have been the undisputed best team in baseball for several weeks.
  12. Great job, Durbin! Koenig has been very good since all star break.
  13. What I like about Monasterio is that even his strikeouts increase our probability of winning 🙂
  14. Six hits, two walks and the benefit of two errors
  15. Listen, just because Ortiz has zero put outs today doesn’t mean his defense hasn’t already saved us multiples runs 🙂
  16. That we will sweep the NLDS too quickly and risk being rusty for NLCS 🙂💪
  17. Also, Brewers have .600 winning percentage over last ten games.
  18. Murphy clearly understands the team plays better when they are underdogs. Losing in the short term is better for the long term? 🙂🤷‍♂️
