  1. The back up quarterback on many football teams is always among the more popular players. 🙂
  2. Monasterio had 1.116 OPS over 53 AB in August. A .397 OPS in September over 24 AB. To the extent he has received any playing time this season, the only positive thing about his offensive profile is launch angle sweet spot %. That is to say he does a fair job hitting line drives.
  3. That would be 12 times longer than his previous start against Milwaukee.
  4. Peralta beat Yamamoto on July 7. I’m sure we all recall the 0.2 IP outing Yamamoto had against Milwaukee.
  5. We need Megill to yell at our dugout after a 1-2-3 inning. That usually does the trick edit: scoreless inning
  6. This Dodger lineup isn’t that much different than the one we swept in the regular season.
  7. I once visited the Bud Selig Experience and was told there was nothing to see because the exhibit was having a rebuilding year (renovation).
  8. I don’t see how Seattle and Toronto are widely considered better than Milwaukee
  9. There is the 1,400 sq foot Bud Selig Experience at the ballpark. In another sense, current owners don’t have much obligation to honor previous owners 🤷‍♂️
  10. I’m not advanced at understanding these charts but it seems Miz’s fastball moves way more than his slider. If you are a RHP expecting 101 mph cutting in and get 96 mph breaking away, that probably is meaningful. 🙂🤷‍♂️
  11. 99 mph with movement from the left hand side seems important this week.
  12. If we always have one or two bullpen arms that could conceivably throw three innings we should be OK.
  13. The anti-BA sentiment is unfounded. Unless you prefer the television equivalent of Joe Block.
  14. Two scoreless innings from Andersen at Wrigley this week. Only Quintana, Patrick and Anderson can say that. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Blake Snell speculated to start game one. Ohtani game two. Milwaukee has not faced Snell this season. Snell has 5.79 career ERA against Milwaukee across three career starts (2024, 2022 and 2021). Snell has 1.26 WHIP and 2.70 FIP during this regular season. He will walk batters.
  16. Quintana for Game 3 in LA, I’d think? Any game can turn into bullpen game, if necessary. 2 in Milwaukee 3 in LA 2 in Milwaukee, if necessary. No days off except for travel days.
