Yes, one of those relievers is Misiorowski. At the same time, we knew his outing was going to be spectacular, one way or another. (Good or bad)

    The Brewers will face Jameson Taillon in game three. Taillon had a 4.50 ERA over three starts against Milwaukee this season (16 IP). Taillon was effective in two of his starts against Milwaukee this season. Taillon had 1.57 ERA in six starts after the all star break.

    If both teams are taking all 27 outs seriously, I’ll take Ashby against Turner more than Priester against Busch. Turner has .759 OPS against LHP this season. He does not hit RHP, at all. (.387 OPS)

    Priester is probably aware of his 2025 results against Chicago. They are mixed, at best. Even in August, Priester walked five Cubs.

    I forgot how mixed Priester’s results have been against Chicago this season. Yes, he got rocked in May before turning his season around. Even in August he walked five Cubs in one start.

    I forgot Priester got roughed up by the Cubs on May 2, just prior to turning his season around. Quinn has faced the Cubs three times this season, most recently on August 21 when he walked five batters.

    I think bullpenning for game three is reasonable. Quintana approximately once through the order then rotate power arms for the rest of the game. ♟️🔥

    I trust Ashby can pitch a clean first inning. Plus, if we are going to face Michael Busch in the first inning, let it be against a LHP. Busch has been outstanding at the plate against RHP.

    Michael Busch will likely lead off. His OPS against LHP is .642 against LHP and .910 against RHP. Tucker doesn’t struggle against LHP. I suppose Counsell could move Busch to cleanup spot and stack three RHH at top of the lineup to counter? 🤷‍♂️
