  1. This can still be true. A few pitches middle middle though.
  2. Scheduled days off for Yelich makes sense.
  3. I like today’s lineup adjustments. Not a lot of height, though.
  4. Fourth lefty in six games. Gary Sanchez hit a two run HR last year against Ragans. Otherwise, Ragans went 6 IP allowing 2 H, 2 BB and 8 K.
  5. Another lefty tomorrow, Cole Ragans. He pitched well against us last year 🙂
  6. Only two games out of first place thanks to Cardinals coughing up six runs in extra innings. Three in 10th and three in the 11th. Angels in first place 🤷‍♂️
  7. Kyle Hendricks and the Angels leading the Cardinals at the end of 4.
  8. The Twins offense has been extraordinarily terrible this year.
  9. Shane Smith pitched himself into and out of trouble in a scoreless first inning.
  10. We typically keep all yelling related to April 1 within the April 1 game thread.
  11. I see your point. At the same time, this lineup just might need to be organized by which players do we want to get the most plate appearances. If Frelick is hitting well then let’s keep him higher in the lineup. We do seem to have an inordinate number of 180 lb players on the roster.
  12. From 9/3/86 to 9/6/86, Brewers allowed 56 runs over four games. Mostly at the hands of Cleveland. https://stathead.com/tiny/0CwHj
  13. Except by OPS, Chourio’s double yesterday gives him better numbers than Yelich, Contreras, Hoskins through four games. Chourio on pace for 405 strikeouts over 162 games.
  14. Good news, Lorenzen is right handed and has struggled against Milwaukee in his career. Only Yelich has a meaningful number of AB against Lorenzen, though. Should Chourio rest today?
  15. We will need to call people up to make it through the rest of the week, right?
  16. I didn’t like how they play guitar music after every strike at the stadium. Is that new for this year? *shakes fist*
  17. Bubic has been very tough for us in two previous starts.
  18. While I don’t think signing Adames to a $182 million contract makes economic sense for any team, it sure was nice having him as a team leader. He gave us a lot of positive energy and swagger. Probably would not have won us any of the three games this weekend though I’ll be at opening day today, too. 🙂
  19. We will likely have better record than the Braves by tomorrow.
  20. Cubs entered bottom of the eighth leading 6-2. They leave trailing to 10-6.
  21. Did we lose more than Adames? The Brewers got more production from Joey Ortiz this weekend than Adames provided the Giants.
  22. Brewers are out hitting the Yankees 5 to 4
  23. It would be so nice to win one game in New York.
  24. Can we be mad at the Twins if they allow Saint Louis to sweep their opening series?
