    Junis was striking out 6.6 per 9 innings. I think he has a modest regression in Cincinnati. Also, Montas likely has a modest improvement in Milwaukee. I remember how disappointed we all were when we acquired Bryon Hudson over the off-season

    It is alright for this team to win 90+ games this year without buying or selling. We are one game behind LAD in loss column and PHI is 3-7 over last ten. I agree we are not favorites in the NL but we can have a good rest of July and still have ‘bite at the apple.’

    Civale has 3.97 ERA, 11 H, 14 K, 5 BB in 11.1 IP across two starts for Milwaukee. He pitched quite well against Pittsburgh on July 11. Ryan looks like he has been stingy this year. 3.53 ERA and WHIP of 1.00. However, he got roughed up a little in his last start on July 12 allowing 5 ER and season high 3 BB over 5.1 IP in San Francisco.
