    I agree. Cy Young award pitchers should have ability to request a personal catcher. Of course, it is Corbin’s job to execute pitches but just like a pro golfer doesn’t change his putter a couple weeks before a major tournament, neither should the Brewers have messed with Burnes/Caratini.

    Arizona roughed up Burnes on June 18 at AFF. 5 IP, 7 ER However, Burnes dominated on April 11 In Arizona. 8 IP, 0 R. Our record against Arizona this year is poor but three of our four losses were started by Junk, Rea and Teheran.

    Does anyone have a hypothesis on why Anderson went to almost zero playing time? He had pretty good April/May, bad June and alright July before injury. To get almost zero chance after returning from injury seemed strange for a player that has been ‘above replacement level’ this year. Just high strikeout rate?

    Should be a very exciting conclusion to the season. Marlins currently hold the final wild card spot. Miami has one more against Mets and at pesky Pittsburgh. Cubs playing inspired baseball and throwing Stroman today. Stroman has pitched fewer than 4 IP in six appearances since July 15.
