  1. Carson Kelly is probably the only option on their entire roster. Keyed Marte has a .935 OPS, but is way short on ABs. Can’t imagine he can make it with half the ABs most players have.
  2. No they are below 85%, Rizzo is apart of the percentage holding them back.
  3. It is truly amazing how much he keeps opening his mouth and commenting on the whole Rodgers thing. I don’t know what his goal is, heck, he probably doesn’t even know.
  4. As in Davante Adams? The guy that lost thousands not showing up to OTAs? Pretty sure, just like Rodgers, Adam’s had $500k+ bonus he gave up to skip. Maybe that’s being misinterpreted, but everyone said Rodgers lost $500k and everything I read said Adam’s had the same bonus in his contract. There are tons of star players across the league who skipped those voluntary workouts - it was a coordinated effort as part of players union cba negotiations. Specifically to Adams, he showed up for the mandatory minicamp to avoid any fines, and the 500k workout bonus he gave up will more than be made up for within his next contract. Honestly if there's any player who currently should be sitting out demanding a new deal on this roster it's probably Adams. Adam’s said he sat out to be with his daughter born in September, not the coordinated effort. I don’t care that he skipped, not saying he won’t make it up on his next contract. It’s that fact he said he grew up on 0 dollars so he is going to earn every penny he signed up for. That is in fact, false, and he sounds like an idiot because he recently flushed half a mil down the drain. Which I actually don’t even care about that either, it’s really the fact someone is making Adam’s sound like a saint for his comment that didn’t make any sense.

  6. Not being able to throw strikes and having this umpire is a pretty big nightmare scenario.
  7. There cannot be a worse spot to come in and pitch when the pitcher before was a disaster, couldn’t throw strikes, and then you come in...then can’t throw strikes.
  8. 3-1 counts, knows he is getting a meatball, and dribbles it for two runs. Almost a inning ending double play. Sometimes luck is better than skill.
  9. His arm isn’t terrible (he is a SS by trade), but it certainly isn’t a great arm.
  10. Schroeder really generous saying 2nd base is within scoring position for Vogelbach.
  11. It’s not a blip, our pitchers have been using stuff just like others in baseball. I’m guessing many other pitchers on our team will see drops along with dozens across baseball.
  12. I don't think anyone is denying there was some concern, mostly due to age and maybe some injuries in prior years. However, it seems now that many hate Rodgers the narrative is becoming how he looked washed up etc. and drafting a QB was a no brainer. It certainly wasn't a terrible idea to have going into the draft, but it was far from obvious if Rodgers was declining or not.
  13. I get it, again, I don’t blame them for drafting a QB higher in the draft. Though trading up for one is somewhat questionable, especially blindsiding Rodgers at the same time. I just think the Rodgers decline thing is really overblown. Quite a few elite HOF QBs in recent history have had some struggles once they got older and needed to adjust. Those generational QBs often do turn it around too. Even Favre went from gutter trash to a top QB again at one point. Manning/Brady have done it. I get some concern, but I always figured a QB as good as Rodgers would figure out the needed adjustments as he aged to get back on track as a really good QB. Maybe not back to an MVP award level, but definitely though he had good years ahead of him. Rodgers had a down year in his mid 30s and everyone sounded alarm bells...in reality I don’t think it should have been as concerning as people made it.
  14. Those two have been cry babies about Rodgers for over half a decade it seems. On another note it seems to constantly get brought up that Rodgers was on a massive decline and washed up. He certainly wasn't MVP level, but the dude was still probably vastly better than Jordan Love could ever dream of being. Rodgers was one heck of a washed up QB on the decline. I don't totally blame them for drafting a QB a bit high, but its strange when people act like Rodgers was late career Brett Favre. Rodgers was still a really good QB, arguably still a pretty elite one.
  15. Keston Hiura has pretty much torpedoed most of his value. Has proven he can't play 2B and has proven 1B is still going to be pretty ugly. Once the DH is a thing in the NL that is probably where he goes in any teams eyes. Now the major concerns and holes in his bat are center stage. I don't think he has the high ceiling many once dreamed on either. I doubt he ever figures out how to be a .900+ OPS guy. Prime Rickie Weeks is likely the best case scenario, low .800 OPS. Still a nice bat to have, but again, I think that is the ceiling. He has some big flaws to figure out though.
  16. I don’t see that on her page. It’s on her story. But spoiler, it wasn’t serious BP or anything. Just hitting balls with Attanasio son (they do the California Strong thing together).
  17. Don’t get a smoker or Traeger if you want convenience and/or speed. The wife and kids will hate you when it when you start something at 6am and at 6pm you are still screwing around with it. Traegers suck for normal grilling too. They claim it can do “quick” cooks...but it sucks. Everyone hates when my dad insists on pulling out his Traeger to do brats for 5+ hours. I’d recommend a charcoal grill if you want to get a bit more in depth with your outdoor cooking. There are some fancier ones that can do some level of smoking if you feel fancy one day, but can still do quick normal grilling.
  18. The Brewers tried him at 1B when he was in the minors and it was so bad I can't recall if they even let him play an MiLB game there.
  19. They were suppose to be sending them to a science lab to analyze them. I presume there they can find pretty small traces of stuff. John Means uses a solid glob though:
