    Yeah it won't get frostbite or anything, and it won't get colder than the -30 ambient we had this morning. But where the windchill becomes a factor is that it reduces the effectiveness of the block heater, oil pan heater and battery blanket because they're all constantly fighting a losing battle. They help some (it did manage to start this morning, barely) but they'd have been much more effective and it wouldn't have been such a hard start in -30 ambient with still air.

    I feel like I owe my poor old car a sincere and heartfelt apology for what I forced it to do for me this morning. -56 wind chill is just not nice.

    Hah that reminds me of my old dog, rest her soul. When the snow was just the right (wrong?) consistency and temperature she'd get balls of ice between the pads of her paws which annoyed her. But she was a smart little girl. So on a walk in those conditions there would be frequent stops where she'd carefully use her front teeth to bite the ice balls out of her paws and spit them out.

    I'll just say this, I'll be highly disappointed if his walk up music is anything besides the theme song from The Flintstones.

    I was suspicious when my iphone 7 quit working after doing the latest update. Confirmed with someone in the know today. This type of practice should be illegal. It robs the consumers and needlessly creates additional scrap and waste for the environment. Planned/engineered obsolescence really grinds my gears.

    Sveum I appreciate all this digging you have done. Terrific work. I really do believe that Joey can bounce back next year provided that he's good physically. I believe that 2025 is his floor, and I believe his peak potential well exceeds his offensive output of 2024.

    That was a little before I started going. But I saw them try on the day of The Crush, and then they really gave it a hell of a try on the night of Stocco's QB draw. Both wins over Michigan of course, a couple all timers for my personal games attended.

    I'm not so sure about this one. For one, I don't really think Woodruff would accept the QO, so then we'd get that draft pick. And if he did accept, a 1/$22m might not be bad at all. Or it might be really bad, who knows. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

    You called that one. I felt it too. Decided not to watch yesterday, thankfully.

    Should have beat them yesterday. This felt inevitable from the start. Everyone across mlb should just Sunday lineup vs dodgers, take them down collectively, get them unaccustomed to facing an mlb team, then spring them upon them in the postseason. That’s my idea for how to stop them from winning every championship from now until forever anyways. Open to ideas.
