I thought that as well. I honestly was a bit surprised NY traded for him for that reason, as I'd think they studied Devin extensively prior to the trade. His struggles there probably come as no shock to any of us who watched him with the Brew Crew. Someone mentioned a Jeffress-esque situation. It's early to call for that, but it would be compelling.

It's early, things happen. They'll get better as the season goes on.

Workman...there's a name I have not thought about since the early '90s.

I wish I'd been first to this thread, that would have been my entry

I haven't had the opportunity to watch any milb games yet this year. For some poster who's watched a fair share of Nashville, how has Durbin's defense looked at 3B this spring?

Yeah that's a pleasure I had the opportunity to partake of just a couple weeks back. Hang in there, it'll be over soon.

Go Dodgers feels like such a strange thing to say.

My SOP is to bust out the 'ol Jump To Conclusions Mat whenever I hear the words "elbow discomfort." Unfortunately mine has TJ on the first 6 squares so I need to get a running start to land on something else.

I believe that was for the home run derby.

The announcers have said this is like a home game for Purdue. The refs may not have heard, though.

    Thank you Southpaw19

Southpaw, I have a clarification question. We also choose 3 bench players and DM those to you. But don't we need to account for those players' salaries on the team total $1000 threshold as well?

If you're concerned about facing Michigan, just think how concerned their fans must be about having to face Wisconsin.

    Yassssssss!!
  16. AKCheesehead
Lol @ announcers not thinking that was a foul 🤣

Wellp that's it for Fran. I have to admit, it makes me a little sad knowing I won't get to see him blow his top anymore.

Hearing these commentators saying the Badgers will have to shoot 3s that well in order to have a chance vs MSU. Come on. Bucky just gave them all they could handle in their gym with a generous amount of 2nd half home cooking from the zebras and bad shooting from WI.

The trade really didn't make any sense since they sent both Lee and Cruz to Texas. Trading Lee and making room for Cruz would have made sense. And then we wouldn't have had to watch Shrek as a Brewer.

    Good call there JFS! 😀

What a nice shot by Tonje to close out the half!
  22. AKCheesehead
The officials let JMU absolutely get away with murder in that game, especially the first half. If they'd called that thing straight, half of their guys would have fouled out by halftime. That game was a joke.

Traded for none other than Nelson Cruz. And Justin Lehr, who I cannot remember at all even though he pitched in 39 games for the Brewers across '05 & '06.

I believe his playing days are done now. I'm glad he parlayed that nice '22 season he had with us into a good payout to finish his career. He really played a good 3B for the Brewers that summer. Also of course glad it wasn't MIL paying him $9.5m OAK signed him to.

Figured it out, it's a browser issue. It wouldn't show in firefox which may or may not be due to running ghostery. With chrome it's showing. Just in case anyone else had this issue.
