    Darn it. That means he’ll probably be really trying to behave at the Kohl center. Which is a little bit of a bummer because I’m going to that one. I always hope for a Frantrom incident when I watch an Iowa game.

    I've long thought that some version of the 1981 split season playoff format could be fun and generate a ton of fan interest. It would probably need a little tweaking, such as including a wild card so as not to repeat what happened to the Reds that year. It would definitely add some excitement in the buildup to the end of the first half.

    Depends on which Woo we are getting. Will it be or will it be ? Serious answer though, I'd rather hang onto Wiemer and Mitchell a while longer.

    This is pretty much where I'm at. Personally I don't see much benefit to trading from the OF depth because: 1) we're probably going to need the depth, 2) I think trading any of Mitchell, Frelick or Wiemer at this point would be selling quite low on a player with pretty substantial upside, and 3) I want TT on the team. He's really solid at any OF position, can be decent with the bat, and I believe his stability brings more value to the Brewers than what they would receive for him in a trade. I'd rather hold on to what we've got and during 2024 really figure out who to keep. They've got the potential to have one of the greatest outfielder groups ever seen.

    Didn't see it mentioned, but I only scanned. Wow on the blocked PAT, you could see that sucker was going to get blocked before they ever snapped the ball.

    This was my thought too. Reminds me of Hogan joining the NWO. Hollywood Counsell doesn't have the same ring to it, and this one isn't fun either. I always liked Craig but I always wish nothing but the worst for the cubs. This is disgusting.

    This summer when I was in Wisconsin I got some Rocky Rococo’s sausage at Woodmans. Finally got around to making a pizza with it last night it was great. I didn’t make a Rocky’s style pizza but the flavor was very similar. So much of the taste I associate with Rocky’s is the sausage. So yeah, if you’re a fan of Rocky’s sausage they sell it and it’s good.

    I don't know, I guess I lean with those who want a '26 team option. Because of the type of injury, you just don't know if Woodruff's ever going to be good again. $20m on a 2 year deal...I just don't think that'd be a great idea. I mean it's really a 1 year deal since '24 is shot. Is a guy coming off capsule surgery and not pitching in a year worth $20m/year? There's a chance, sure. And if he is, then we exercise the option. Woo agreeing to the '26 option seems like a fair reciprocation for the faith by the Brewers to commit to the 2 year deal. So that's what I'm hoping for.

    It kind of had that rivalry feel in the Marquette's Crean years, because of the way they played and also his general demeanor. I know I couldn't stand them. I'm pretty sure Krabbenhoft never appreciated them much either.
