    No I figured that piece out. But you can only apply it to certain seats now as opposed to all over the place like before. We go to one game a year if we’re lucky so we’re not going to sit in the nosebleeds or potentially roast along 3rd base. And yeah I did notice prices were jacked up.

    It's been a couple years since I've bought tickets on their website and what I'm seeing is a pretty big disappointment. Dad and I like to go to day games and he gets the 50% senior discount. Used to be I'd get the tickets and apply the discount to his seat, wherever we chose. Now anywhere we'd want to sit you cannot apply the discount anymore. I ended up getting 2 full price tickets instead.

    Technically a violation I guess but seems pretty darn nitpicky to me. Sal glanced, saw Nola was nowhere near being ready so he quick checked his placement with a bat tap and gets rung up. I don’t think that’s what the rule was intended for. Or maybe I’m just salty.

    That was the first time I’ve heard the Miami crowd since I tuned in. There must be several dozen fans there.

    If only the cards were trotting out washed Arrieta today. That Ashby debut was a horrible debut but what a game.

    Has it been revealed anywhere what was said between Siri and Uribe last night? That was a little bizarre.

    One thing that jumped out at me in the article: "At the time, it seemed like puffery, an attempt to build confidence in a former first-round pick who’d been sub-replacement level in his first major league season." I thought, that can't be right. I looked it up and sure enough, his 2023 fWAR was -.2 whereas his bWAR was 1.6. Quite a divide, whereas in '24 he's at 1.1 and 1.2 respectively.

    Man, 1B was quite the position of strength for the 2013 Brew Crew. You had Juan Francisco(62GS), Yuni B (46 GS), Sean Halton (19 GS), Alex Gonzalez (16 GS), Maldonado (7GS), Lucroy (9GS) and for the other 3 games some guy named Blake Lalli who I cannot remember at all.

    For those wondering, Willy had 2 triples last season, and per baseball savant, Camden is an ok park for a righty to get triples.

    Dad and I also tried to guess and got tickets. We were pretty close, were there for #2,999 and he had a long out to the CF warning track later in the game. #3000 was really close to being a HR. edit: I mean to say, he was really close to having a HR that would have been #3000.

    I had to look it up, not the guy I would have guessed. The guy I would have guessed has gotten one off every team besides the team he was with the past 4 years.
