  1. Thank you. That makes sense now that I've re-read it.
  2. I struggle with this part: Under the terms of the lease, the District is responsible for "all Major Capital Repairs" and must keep American Family Field in a condition that "can reasonably be said to fall within the 'top' twenty-five percent (25%) of all such facilities, when such facilities are ranked or rated according to the quality with which they are repaired and improved." I'm interpreting that as, your stadium must rate in the top 25% of stadiums in order to have a team. How is that fair or possible? By that criteria, no matter what, 3/4 of the teams in MLB will always be in trouble about their stadium. I must be missing something here....
  3. Cruz was so overmatched it was not even funny. I guess it may have been worth it since we eventually traded him for Shouse who was decent.
  4. The way he finished out last season, I had some hopes he might be ready to contribute for Milwaukee at some point this season and was keeping an eye on him. Seemed like inconsistency was his thorn. Probably won't take him long to get an opportunity with Oakland, so hopefully he's able to turn that into something.
  5. It seemed to me like the Pirates kind of invented that little stunt a few years back.
  6. This thread got me wondering if Pomeranz will ever be able to make it back for the Padres. If not, they'll end up having paid him $34 mil to pitch 44.1 innings.
  7. Rea looked really good in that half inning.
  8. Rea looked really good in that half inning.
  9. Hah I thought people just refused to comment further after the wheels fell off the game today. I was pretty impressed by it actually.
  10. Something that occurred to me yesterday was the potential for stadium music shenanigans with Jordan Love as our QB. At home, there's no end to the love themed songs they could play. O'Jays Love Train, Beatles All You Need is Love come to mind. On the road, I wonder if anyone will go for J Geils Love Stinks. Or if he takes a tough hit, maybe Nazareth's Love Hurts.
  11. What a treat of a game to watch tonight. Looked forward to it all day and it did not disappoint!
  12. Not to mention, lots of fans (and sometimes umpires, it seems like) think the strike zone is the same rectangle for all players. In reality the high and low are both vastly different for a couple players like Jose Altuve and Aaron Judge, for example.
  13. They have a guy named Carpenter. For some reason people named Carpenter are really tough on the Brewers.
  14. I'm thrilled to see Taylor in the lineup for Nashville tonight. Really hoping he stays healthy in his return, and that he can soon make his way back to helping the big league club.
  15. I thought the PTBNL ended up being Victor Castaneda. But he hasn't pitched this year, has that been nullified? I hope Javy clears waivers for us.
  16. Sign forest is Watson Lake so yep that tracks. I fly at Christmas and sometimes in summer but my preference is to drive it. It’s a haul but I like the road and the scenery. Plus the town I’m in is sort of a landlocked island so when I get the chance I’m always ready to watch the windshield.
  17. Oh no arguments from me on that. I use their website mainly because their box scores format and load decently. Sports center once in a while I’ll watch and usually come away with affirmation of why I seldom watch it. I do sometimes get pulled in if a Brewer makes a great play, to see If he’s in the top 10.
  18. I love how the article on espn said "The first-place Brewers haven't had much go wrong, but now they will move forward without the upbeat Mitchell" Let's see...Ashby, Taylor, Houser, Woodruff, Varland, Urias, Mitchell all on the IL who else am I missing? Oh yes, Burnes' pec strain. Yeah that's not much wrong at all.
  19. I'm guessing the area with all the animals you're referring to is that stretch between Muncho Lake and Liard Hot Springs? There's always a ton of bison along the road every time I pass through there, not to mention all the other wildlife you're apt to see.
  20. I just wish the Brewers had gotten a chance to shellac the madbum during the AZ series.
  21. I could be misremembering things here but I thought Lincecum's career was ended by problems with his hips not his labrum.
  22. Jean Segura is one that comes to mind as far as former Brewers comps goes.
  23. You don't? I do. C'mon Brock, you telling us you didn't like watching David Cone argue with the 1B ump with the ball in his hand while everyone ran free and scored? 🙂
