When you do become a parent (if you're a good one) you have constant anxiety about their safety lol. A proper car seat is a bare minimum. I drove myself nuts looking at all the statistics and stuff that could go wrong with my 1 year old and then you realize the stats are skewed by stupid people. There are a LOT of stupid people and stupid parents. Gave me a lot of peace as a dad.

Given the nature of Ashby's original injury the fact he is up to the velo he's currently at is pretty remarkable. I think Hall has way higher expectations. Also due to the fact Ortiz has been a dud.

Thanks for nothing Yeli lol, Yelich is up to a 7 wRC+ against lefties. Richest contract in Brewers history is nothing more than a platoon hitter now. Sad

I think he'd command more than the Soto deal due to extreme cost control of a generational arm. However, I don't understand why any team would do that. Especially the brewers. He only performs once every 5 games at the end of the day. If the Pirates have no inclination to contend or add payroll. I don't see the point in holding him hostage so trade him! (Preferably out of the NL Central to the AL lol) -
With how much control he still has I completely disagree. He will be the hottest name possibly available on the pitching side of things at the deadline.

I love hearing it. Think a Luis Castillo prospect package should be equal value. With our lower levels and our pitching depth currently we could ignite the start of a powerhouse. Adding two top 100 guys to one of the best farms in ball is enticing! I love Freddy but I am not sure his value will be any higher.

I just don't understand how PCA is still on this heater. His peripherals are poopy and he has one of the worst chase rates in baseball. Sometimes it's just the way she goes.

Oh absolutely I don't think anyone looks at this team and say it screams a "contender". Here's hoping ownership doesn't handcuff what needs to be done for the sake of a wild card one and done. This draft is looking stacked in 2026 maybe we get lucky and win the lotto. With the elite lower level talent we have we could build a powerhouse very soon. I think it's ok to punt this year. Will Attanasio?

My friend he is the youngest player in baseball. It is a relatively new position to him at this level. This team is not set up to compete it's ok to have him learn on the fly out there. His reads in RF are way better I will say he is darn near elite as a defender there. It can translate if he puts in the work. It takes time and he hasn't seen much time in that position in the MLB. Lets give the kid some grace.

Abner absolutely has closing stuff I am not gonna judge him too harshly after one bad outing. The guy hasn't let up a run in the past month.

It probably will and should be Ashby. We just dont have any fresh arms.

Checking in and saw Murph went to Nick Mears again. Ugh I really don't like Mears usage lately. It's borderline psychotic especially when he is one of our only reliable high leverage guys.
