  1. I initially saw it was Yophery and thought it must be a decent arm, then I saw Comp pick AND PTBNL...They must really like this arm.
  2. Tyson Hardin looks like a guy who could be an impact pen guy sooner than later.
  3. Re-read… Running Back recruit. That said…I can’t find him at all when searching the Rivals and 247Sports football recruiting databases. 5* guy…not even close.
  4. I am far from a scout, but this kid stood out during my ~45 minutes of watching a minor league game on Monday. Big guy hairy a Quick bat. Punishes the ball. Arm didn’t look great behind the plate.
  5. Is it really? Nearly a year and a half later?
  6. Between a backhand play in the hole to get Joey Weimer at first yesterday, and a sweet, quick-handed play on a bouncer up the middle to get Braylon Payne on the first play of today’s minor league game, I’m convinced Jesus Made is a shortstop.
  7. Hoping for a solid lineup of guys today, as our Friday game looked solid and then the lineup got reset due to the weather. We any idea if we’ll see some of those guys from yesterday going back to back??? What time do the Brewers get to the field when traveling for ST?
  8. How do I check who #88 is today??? Kids got his autograph, and I’m at a loss. 😂
  9. When do lineups typically get announced for these ST games? Heading to Am Fam soon with the kids!!!
  10. Sounds generally positive! Must be a tough navigation back after 18 months away from throwing live ABs. Hopefully Woodruff can be effective, whether that means 80 innings or 180 this year.
  11. Isn't the common assumption that this is a sign that China is finding its way around chip sanctions moreso than their being able to create a comparable product using inferior components?
  12. Can somebody help me out? I can not find the BF fan vote prospect rankings on the site.
  13. Yankees sending $4.5 million, as well. Love the deal.
  14. There's no guarantee of postseason success ever. The Packers did have a great run after 2010, but were never able to get over that NFCC hump. I don't think winning one in 2010 made that any easier for fans, though. The whining just went from "we never got it done" to "we only got it done once".
  15. That's about it for me. I have a group of guys I'm in group chat with and many/most of them feel that a regular season is meaningless if there isn't postseason success. I just can't get on board with that. Especially in a 3 game series (division winners deserve better, btw).
  16. There absolutely is a schedule or projected timeline or whatever you want to call it. You know when and where you have young talent and budget flexibility, and offense and defense talent should be able to come together. That doesn’t mean it works out that way, but to say there is no “schedule” is refusing to see the forest through the trees.
  17. You have no option but to accept losses like last night unless you think there is an organizational flaw that can be fixed to prevent your 2x Reliever of the Year closer from blowing a 2 run lead in the 9th in the future. I don’t think that was the case.
  18. I know it doesn't help right now, but what the team did this year was at least a year, maybe 2, ahead of "schedule" as most had laid out. There's no guarantee for the future, but the young nucleus this team is built around is super exciting. We'll likely need an upgrade at 3b, but I'd feel pretty decent going into next year with what we have otherwise. Starting pitching is a big question mark, but we should have all kinds of options, and that's without factoring in any potential pickups. Do you agree? We're a year or two ahead of schedule? I refuse to believe this franchise is cursed or incapable of winning in the post season like I've heard from so many of my friends who are fans. So much to look forward to.
  19. Damn. A loss like this really brings some incredible responses by some. I love this team and have been very invested, but maybe not to Brewerfanatic levels!!!
  20. The “people not having kids are the smart ones” knocked me for a loop. I’m 40 in December and when I see people my age without kids I can’t help but feel they’re missing out on life a bit. Like what brings them purpose? “Career” is such a lame answer, but I know people are wired differently.
  21. Clearly they believe their guys at the slots they got them are the best value. They always spend their full allowance, so what’s your complaint?
  22. How do you continue day to day with a mindset that the future is so dark that you don't want to bring children in to it? Feels very depressing.
  23. So in a somewhat last minute move, my family will be taking a road trip to Colorado 7/3-7/8. We'll be able to get to the game at Coors field on July 4th. What experience have others had there? It'll be my wife, our two kids, and two foster children we currently are caring for. I'd like decent seats, but need to be somewhat economical, as well. Is the secondary market a smart place to look, or not? Thanks for any help!
