You hope for 5 solid innings out of Chacin and turn this over to the bullpen. I would only throw Hader one inning tonight with a lead and hopefully keep him in the mix for game 5. We really need things to fall exactly right tonight to have a chance against Buehler.

    Safe to say that Saturday's game will be a day game since there are two games scheduled that day and the AL gets all the primetime love?

    I would leave the 25 man exactly the way it is. We are going to need Santana's bat off the bench this series, I expect most of these games to be tight.

    My prediction for starting rotation beginning 2019: Nelson Chacin Burnes Peralta Woodruff That is a rotation that has a chance to be special.

    Still hoping for Peralta, the Rockies have a right handed heavy lineup. And we all know what he did against them last time.

    Love the idea of starting Peralta tomorrow. Question is, will he even make the 25 man roster?

    My guess is if it is Brewers/Cubs it will be 6:30, if Brewers/Rockies then 3:00.

    Well there are two games scheduled that day so we could very well be playing a day game. Did some digging. First day last year on Thurs was AL and two games. First at 3 Central and the other at 6:30 Central. LAD with a 5-0 lead now so almost for sure we'd be the 3 central game since they'll be playing that game in LA. Friday has all 4 games so that becomes a bit more of a mess to figure out but again with one game going in LA and the other games involving Boston and possibly NY i'd assume day game as well. so that's the educated guess that I can come up with Don't think that will matter. I think they'll put the game with the better ratings as the night game. Brewers/Cubs sure feels like it would be the higher rated game than Dodgers/Braves.

    Getting an early lead and turning this over to our bullpen is going to be key.

    I would do anything I could to keep Peralta in the mix. He is one of the few starters on our roster that can go out and beat anyone, anywhere, anytime. We may need that type of upside if we fall behind in a series.

    Tonight's pitching matchup appears to be the most challenging. Zimmerman is capable of putting up good numbers, it would be nice to get some runs early. The only guy that can really beat you in their lineup is Castellanos, probably best to just avoid him whenever possible.

    Two chances to advance as opposed to one. I would take the tiebreaker game on Monday 10 times out of 10.

    I just can't see the Cubs beating the Cardinals three times with the bullpen they are presently running out there.

    Its out of our control. Just take these last 4 games one at a time, hopefully win them all and let the standings take care of itself.

    Man if we could tack one two more runs I think we really take the wind out of the Cardinals sails.
