    It's still early, but this sure feels like a really good trade from our end.

    This is a discussion about why the team is not exciting to watch this year. Would you be more excited if Wilken were playing 3rd base and Misiorowski was in the starting rotation? I bet there are several MLB teams that would have both of those players in the big leagues right now, why can't we be one of them? Pete Crow-Armstrong got a cup of coffee in the big leagues when he was 21, and is now considered one of the best young players in the game. Wilken will be 23 in June.

    I agree. For me, it’s knowing the roster has no chance competing for a championship as constructed. Couple that with not fully committing to a youth movement and having to watch a broken down Yelich play every night. We’re in no man’s land right now.

    Assuming we are sellers, our top trade options appear to be Peralta, Megill and Hoskins.

    We couldn’t pay Adames what he got, but it’s hard to quantify just how big his loss was to the team.

    I would take Henderson! My dad will be at Wednesday's game, and would be ecstatic over seeing Misiorowski if it happens. I can't help but dream about a starting rotation of Peralta, Miz, Patrick, Henderson, and maybe Woodruff next year if he were to stick around.

    Misiorowski last pitched on Thursday, and Tuesday's probable is listed as "undecided". Any chance of Misiorowski making his MLB debut that night? I ask only because I have tickets for that night!

    The Miz hit 103 mph today, time to call him up!

    I would love to see the team call up Brock Wilken and Misiorowski and let them play at the big league level for a while. We aren't going to contend with the Dodgers and the better NL teams with Caleb Durbin and Quinn Priester, so go with the high ceiling youngsters and see what happens. If we aren't in contention at the deadline, we sell and restock the farm system. If we are in contention, it likely means Wilken and Miz are playing well.

    That's where I am at too. I would add selling Yelich as well. He was a great player in his prime, but his best days are behind him and he probably deserves to play for a contender at this point.

    I would be totally fine if we brought up Wilken to be our everyday 3B and live with all of his mistakes. I don't think he'd be much worse than Durbin, and would also bring a power component and likely better defense. I just don't see this roster as a contender, and would prefer us to move towards a youth movement and be sellers at the deadline.

    I would rather have Wilken be the Brewers everyday 3b over Caleb Durbin.

    Misiorowski’s next start needs to be his MLB debut. He has nothing left to prove in the minors.

    The lineup we are trotting out there today could not beat many AAA teams.

    They either win games 3-1 with great pitching, or get blown out. they don't have the offense to beat teams 6-5. The void left by Adames is large, mostly in his leadership qualities. He seemed to be the bridge between the spanish speaking players and the non-spanish speaking players that I don't think we have this year. We all knew the team was going to have a big void at 3rd base that was never addressed in the offseason. Ortiz has given us next to zero production from SS, and the fill-in's in the outfield have been subpar. The team can probably be pretty good with all of their pitchers healthy and a legitimate bat at 3rd base. The question is, will that occur, and if so, when?

    I'm not conceding this season yet. We still have Woodruff returning, and Misiorowski is starting to dominate AAA. Add those two to the rotation and add a third baseman at the deadline, and I'll take my chances with this team.

    We have every incentive to light him up for 10+ runs that day.

    2026 rotation is looking good. Peralta, Patrick, Henderson, Myers, Gasser, Priester, maybe Misiorowski in there too.
