    This game may have been the formal Garrett Mitchell coming out party, despite getting picked off of 3rd. The thought of having Chourio and Mitchell together in the same outfield the next several years is very exciting.

    Misiorowksi should be called up tomorrow and Milner DFA’d.

    Lack of offense will be this team’s demise. Seems pretty inevitable at this point.

    I would really love to see us bring up Miz and Yoho and cut bait with Milner and Peguero. I just don’t know why we can’t quit those two.

    It sure seems like this team’s downfall will be its offense by year’s end like many of our teams in recent years.

    I am very curious to see where Chourio and Merrill’s stats will compare when the season is over because that could very well be the race for ROY.

    What I meant was a potential trip to the NLCS or maybe even a World Series!

    I'll be the first to admit I was wrong, especially with the Montas and Civale acquisitions. They have been great, and we didn't have to give up much for either. I'm also done playing hindsight on the Burnes trade. We got two players that will hopefully be cornerstones for years to come, and we will win a division and maybe more without Burnes in 2024. The Brewers organization adds players around the fringes while protecting our coveted farm system, which is what we need to do to consistently compete with the powerhouses of MLB.

    Fair point. Civale just got done shutting out the Guardians and is a veteran. Lots can change between now and October.

    Hard to envision Montas or Civale not being on the playoff roster, regardless of round.

    With a big divisional lead, I would have to think the Brewers’ brass will be more inclined to see what we have in Miz and Yoho come September.
